To support the effectiveness of ASP initiatives, the ASP-ID pharmacist will maintain on-site service coverage rounding with inpatient ID team(s). The ASP-ID pharmacist will serve as a key faculty member in postgraduate pharmacy training programs and affiliated colleges of pharmacy. This position will focus their efforts on ASP support at Rush Oak Park hospital and Rush Copley Medical Center. Essential Clinical Duties and Responsibilities of the ASP-ID Pharmacist: * Develops metrics for performance and maintenance of ASP. * Participates in the provision of pharmaceutical patient care through ASP staffing and clinical rounds. * Participates in restricted/protected antimicrobial approval. * Participate in ASP coordinated education of healthcare professionals across RUSH sites and external partners. * Serves as a liaison to other healthcare providers in the ASP.
