The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

With 57 clinics nationwide and a growing client base, Ageless Men’s Health is looking for a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work as Clinic Director of a new clinic to open in the Alexandria, Virginia area.

WHAT WE DO

At Ageless Men’s Health we focus on safe and medically managed testosterone replacement therapy, weight management, skin care and concierge medicine to help our patients improve their overall health and wellness.

JOB SUMMARY

Our Clinic Director role is a unique opportunity for a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to lead their peers and manage a clinic. You will build lasting relationships with your patients while providing direct patient care to include initial evaluation and assessment of patient needs, administering weekly treatments, and monitoring ongoing progress of patients. Clinic Directors run every aspect of our clinics locally – from census management to selection and management of their team.

No nights/weekends, no on-call and no sick patients plus this position provides an opportunity to make your time more valuable with uncapped bonus potential.

Primary Care - 90%
• Provide medical care to Innovage PACE participants, including the evaluation, diagnosis and management of their medical conditions, including but not limited to taking of a medical history, performance of physical examination, ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests, formulation of an assessment of condition and a treatment plan, writing prescriptions, ongoing follow up of same, and management of medical information from specialists and hospital teams.
• Document medical care in the participant’s medical record, in compliance with InnovAge PACE documentation policies. May include involvement with the establishment of electronic medical records and providing the Center Medical Director with input around needed ongoing EMR enhancements.
• Provide after-hours medical coverage by phone as assigned by Primary Care leadership. [SG1]
• Participate within the interdisciplinary team in the formulation of Plans of Care for InnovAge PACE participants, as well as in other interdisciplinary team settings that further the care of InnovAge PACE participants.
• Contribute in the quality improvement initiatives of InnovAge PACE programs
• Present input into, initiate and/or facilitate new medical programs and processes in support of InnovAge PACE’s strategic goals.

Supervision - 10%
• Provide, by example and leadership, motivation and direction to employees of the organization.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable state and federal employment laws.
• Responsibilities include assistance in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Help set the tone of the department to ensure morale, team work, and that the positive culture of the organization is maintained.
• Participate in Primary Care activities, including meetings, peer reviews, Morbidity and Mortality conferences, primary care initiatives and quality initiatives.
• Additional work functions and duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED
Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree required.
Current active state Medical License and DEA number.
Board Eligible or Certification required. If Board Eligible, certification required within 6 months.
A minimum of one year working with the frail or elderly is required.

PREFERRED
Postgraduate training in a primary care specialty, including but not limited to internal or family medicine. Completion of post-residency training in geriatric medicine preferred, but not required.
