  • Collaborate with the primary medical team and radiology treatment team to coordinate and facilitate treatment through the system including diagnostic, procedural treatment and follow up phases of care.
  • Serve as a clinical resource to evaluate workflows and collaboratively redesign the radiology program to ensure safe, timely, efficient and effective patient care.

Education :

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Work Experience :

Minimum - Two (2) years of relevant nursing experience.

Preferred - One (1) year Radiology experience if working at University Hospital, Inpatient.

Two (2) years of Pediatric experience if working at American Family Children's

hospital. Experience in an academic medical setting.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum - Registered Nurse, Licensed in the State of Wisconsin. BLS.

Performs a variety of administrative program coordination activities associated with a specific functional/operational activity of the Medical Center. Develops comprehensive plans for program implementation through maintenance and/or completion. Monitors progress and provides updates to leadership on status. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory accreditation and Medical Center requirements.

Passport International Nurse Project- Works within the nursing sector, including inpatient units and nurse managers, to impact the hire, onboarding, retention of the International RN.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program.

Experience: Three years clinical nursing required. 1-2 years of progressive leadership experience, which includes clinical nursing background.

Licensure: Must be a registered nurse and currently licensed to practice in the State of Virginia.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
