Assist in the setup and maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas to ensure safety and efficiency. Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to residents during therapy sessions, ensuring safety, proper technique, and optimal outcomes. Utilize adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environment modifications to facilitate residents' participation in therapy activities and enhance their independence in daily tasks. Document resident progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with residents and their families to establish realistic goals, educate them on therapeutic techniques and strategies, and provide support and encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process. Engage residents in activities and provide hands-on assistance and support as needed to promote participation and enjoyment. Set up and clean up activity spaces, including arranging furniture, preparing materials, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are maintained. Escort residents to and from activity sessions, outings, and events, providing assistance with mobility and ensuring their safety and comfort. Assist with documenting resident participation, preferences, and feedback on activity programs to track outcomes and evaluate effectiveness. Participate in training programs and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in recreational programming, aging services, and dementia care. Adhere to facility policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards and guidelines, related to resident activities and recreational programming. Requirements: Job Qualifications: STNA license not required but strongly preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred. About the Role As a Full-Time Rehab Aide, you will: Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions, ensuring proper use of wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Assist patients with transfers between surfaces (bed, chair, therapy plinth) using gait belts and following facility safety protocols. Prepare and return patients to their rooms or designated areas after treatment, communicating any mobility concerns to the therapy team. Coordinate transport timing with nursing and therapy staff to ensure patients arrive on schedule and minimize wait times. About the Facility Regina Health Center: Regina is a facility with 101 SNF/ 54 ALF beds that provides comprehensive care tailored to residents' needs.
