About the Role As a Full-Time Rehab Aide, you will: Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions, ensuring proper use of wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Assist patients with transfers between surfaces (bed, chair, therapy plinth) using gait belts and following facility safety protocols. Prepare and return patients to their rooms or designated areas after treatment, communicating any mobility concerns to the therapy team. Coordinate transport timing with nursing and therapy staff to ensure patients arrive on schedule and minimize wait times.
