Compensation At Tailwinds, we believe every full-time licensed clinician deserves to earn at least six figures (plus benefits) on an annual basis within two years or less. No Duties and Responsibilities Please note: this position is full-time, 10-month, with June and July off. * Provides high quality counseling and psychological services for Loyola students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate and professional programs. * Provides triage, initial visit intakes, group counseling and brief individual psychological counseling focused on student success. * Maintains clinical records and necessary statistics of psychotherapeutic and other client contacts in compliance with legal and ethical standards and best practices. * Consults with psychiatrists in conjunction with prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medication for psychotherapy patients. * Consults with parents, physicians, faculty, deans, Residence Life Staff, off-campus counseling services, other campus offices and students, when appropriate, in order to provide quality care to students. * Makes referrals to off-campus therapists, clinics, and hospitals, when appropriate. * Provides crisis management services, including after-hours coverage as needed. * Provides walk-in crisis and risk assessment, urgent and emergent counseling services. * Develops safety plans and facilitates psychiatric hospitalizations as necessary. * Supervises trainees with clinical crises and urgent care situations. * Provides after-hours, weekend and holiday coverage 24/7 on a rotating basis with other Wellness Center staff members, as a backup to ProtoCall, which serves as first layer of after hours call and crisis response. * Supervises unlicensed student therapists as part of training program. * Supervises, designs and participates in training experiences for masters and/or doctoral level graduate trainees in accord with high standards of care and academic program learning outcomes * Provides case management oversight and consultation to trainees, as assigned. * Organizes, leads and/or contributes to training seminars for graduate level interns and externs. * Provides outreach and consultation to students, faculty, staff and parents. * Conducts outreach and other student learning programs, as requested, orientation sessions for new students and emergency and postvention support to the campus community, as needed. * Conducts organized mental health awareness campaigns such as National Depression Screening Day, Eating Disorders Awareness Day as assigned by Director of Counseling * Develops and implements trainings on mental health awareness for Residence Life professional and student staff. * Participates in campus-based mental health initiatives organized by Wellness Center such as suicide prevention programs. * Stays current on relevant research and best practices regarding psychological services to the college student population. * Develops psychoeducational programming to address campus mental health and climate issues. * Participates in regular Wellness Center staff meetings, case conferences, and in-service/professional development training. * May serves on Wellness Center and/or Student Development and university committees by request or as appointed by the Director of the Wellness Center or the Director of Counseling. * Develops didactic and psychoeducational presentations to groups inside and outside of the Wellness Center * Organizes and presents in team meetings and clinical case conferences to Wellness Center staff members based on areas of specialty and clinical expertise. * May provide administrative coordination of the groups program or outreach and liaison activities as assigned by the Director of Counseling Minimum Education and/or Work Experience * Master's degree in social work and one-three years of related experience. * Licenses: (LCSW) in Illinois Qualifications * Passion for and experience working with students from marginalized groups and dedication to partnering with relevant campus advocates * Demonstrated experience providing therapy to communities affected by racial and/or historical trauma * Evidence of strong self-awareness of how one's own identities and life experiences impact counseling strategies and interactions with students * demonstrated consultation skills * current State of Illinois licensure, or ability to attain Illinois license within a reasonable timeframe. * experience in crisis management preferred;
