Essential Job Duties: Provides intake, assessment, and behavioral health services for referred clients. Provides individual counseling services dependent on degree and licensure. Other duties as assigned. Required Minimum Qualifications - Education, Experience, Certificates & Licenses: Master's degree in behavioral health or related program. Must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Substance Abuse Counselor, Professional Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, Social Worker, or other license as appropriate. The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for diagnosing and treating mental and emotional disorders for our outpatient clients, whether cognitive, affective, or behavioral, applying psychotherapeutic theories and techniques in the delivery of services for the purpose of treating such diagnosed mental and chemical addiction disorders.
