About the Job The Children's Advocacy Center of SW Florida (CAC) is a busy non-profit agency located in Fort Myers serving Lee, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades Counties. At CAC, we offer abuse determination services for children as well as therapeutic counseling, parenting education, and prevention programs. CAC is seeking a qualified full-time clinical therapistfor the Family Alliance Program. The position provides trauma-based therapy to children who have been abused and to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Work hours vary from Monday through Friday and may include a minimum of two evenings per week. General Responsibilities (full job description will be provided upon interview): Provide individual therapy, family sessions, group counseling, and psychoeducational sessions. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, weekly sessions, and discharges. Facilitate 5-6 daily sessions using TF-CBT, EMDR, or a psychoeducational curriculum. Complete progress notes and maintain comprehensive client records. Create and implement treatment plans. Submit daily documentation and monthly data in a timely manner. Travel to a satellite office once per week to conduct sessions in Charlotte County or Hendry County. Participate in weekly individual/group supervision. Complete quarterly and annual training. Calusa Recovery offers mental health and substance use disorder treatment for adults at the following levels of care: PHP, IOP and OP. This role is open to those seeking supervision with a FL intern status license. Calusa Recovery's clinical team provides high quality, innovative, personalized treatment with integrity. Job duties include psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, treatment planning, and case management services. Duties: 1. Provides individual, family and group therapy. 2. Maintains clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner in the EHR; KIPU experience preferred. 3. Leads activities that build recreational and socialization skills. 4. Provides support services to the family, such as: referrals, advocacy and service linkages. 5. Participates in the development of treatment plans, comprehensive assessments, discharge plans, and referrals. 6. Participates in treatment team meetings. 7. Provides support to auxiliary staff, student interns, and volunteers. 8. Assists in the development of staff orientation programs. 9. Leads activities that address daily living skills and self-care needs. 10. Performs related studies as needed and appropriate to the provision of care. 11.
