What You'll Do:
The Mental Health Therapist Team Leader will be focused on providing behavioral health clinical and administrative support to Blue Ridge clinicians while also providing assessment, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group therapy at a 50% administrative and 50% clinical role. The team leader will assist individual clinics and assigned programs in addressing behavioral health needs and whole person needs with behavioral interventions. Responsibilities include:
Providing clinical and oversite support to a team of behavioral health staff.
Assuring and sharing responsibility in maintaining compliance with Blue Ridge Health's service and documentation standards as well as clinical standards and addressing promptly, directly, and compassionately in supervisions with staff.
Follow and support established policies, procedures and protocols related to the delivery of clinical services and maintains responsibility for the team in providing practical interpretation of the established policies and procedures.

Attend community meetings as requested by supervisor.
Meet consistently with team therapists and staff for the purpose of collaboration, training, supervision, connection, and support.

Manage all things schedule related - time cards in ADP, PTO requests, etc. Build and monitor Counselor schedules in Athena to best serve clinical needs and service delivery expectations.
Respond to day-to-day clinical consultation needs from the behavioral team and assigned clinics.
Serve as back up consultation to other team leaders and clinical supervisor.
Review requests for: same day service, letters, DSS reports, and urgent needs.
Attend monthly Site Meeting and monthly team leader meeting.
Manage new employee orientation for Counselors and support in interviewing and hiring.
Provide clinical Supervision to provisionally licensed staff and other staff as needed.
Identify individual clinic needs and priorities and bring forward to clinical supervisor.
