All services are provided in a family's home and community. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Therapist works with families to assess their needs, develop intervention plans, and deliver therapy sessions that are tailored to the family's unique circumstances. Work closely with utilization review staff to ensure completion and accuracy of all necessary health insurance authorization documentation. Establish community and agency affiliations which address consumer needs and strengthen the delivery of services. Function as liaison and provide education and direct services to family members, as appropriate, in regards to consumer's substance use and related behavioral issues. When necessary due to staff absences or vacancies, maintains a caseload. When necessary, conduct consumer screening for contraband and collection of samples for urine toxicology testing.
