Applying the Mental Capacity Act (2005), you will conduct capacity assessments and Court of Protection work. You will collaborate with health colleagues to support those detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and assess eligibility for Continuing Health Care (CHC) funding. Additionally, you will identify and address safeguarding concerns, including abuse, neglect, and self-neglect. Ideal candidates will have experience in Learning Disability teams, Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity Act work, and strong written and verbal skills.
