Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians and student interns, meeting agency and Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) standards.
Provide face to face weekly supervision (a minimum of one hour of supervision per 10 hours of direct clinical service) of all registered/waivered clinical staff and student trainees and 2-hour group supervision onsite at the program.
Provide regular trainings related to crisis intervention and suicide prevention, current clinical trends, documentation standards and diagnosis- specific interventions.
Reviews intake and annual assessments and clinical documentation to ensure legally and ethically appropriate service delivery.

Responsibilities

GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

b. Provides appropriate interventions to optimize health and well-being. Interventions may include education, the coordination of community-based support services, and other resources.

7. Conducts psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and resources (both family support and community support). 9. Provides crisis intervention services.
10. Responds independently, and with various media, to appropriate community requests. Take the initiative in seeking out opportunities to present programs to meet the needs of patients/members and their families.
11. Consults with Hospital administration, and Plan supplying information and feedback regarding procedures and services provided by the Psychology Division.
12. Develops and maintains working relationships with community resources. 13. Interfaces with the RN Case Manager(s) and the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in the development and implementation of the Case Management Program (CMP).

POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (to be completed within timeframes outlined by the Branch Director):

Determines a family's ability and capacity to parent an adopted child by conducting pre-home study meetings as requested, reviewing and assessing agency-requested information, evaluating the family's knowledge and perceptions of adoption, teaching adoption education courses as needed, and conducting psycho-social assessments of family members.
2. Contributes to the delivery of high-quality adoption services by producing adoption home studies and post placement reports that comply with provided guidelines and meet current agency, state, country and USCIS requirements.
3. Provides support and case management of all assigned families by maintaining quarterly contacts throughout process, communicating information to the family, referring family to appropriate community support systems when necessary and documenting all correspondence in Holt's database.

Conduct home visits as required by state law and country program guidelines, assist in early identification of problematic issues, and make a determination regarding the stability and appropriateness of the placement.
5. Assures child's physical and emotional well-being and eases family's adjustment by providing counseling to the child and family and/or helping arrange for counseling with a clinician outside the agency if needed. In case of an adoption disruption or dissolution, maintain relationship with family to ensure transition plan is developed that meets the child's needs. Assist child and family with transition of child to new placement.
6. Contributes to public knowledge about Holt and supports Holt programs by participating in activities arranged by Holt including picnics or parent groups, representing Holt at adoption meetings, coalitions and organizations, and performing other outreach activities as appropriate.
7. Maintains professional knowledge by attending relevant seminars and course work, keeping informed about State regulations, legislation, adoption issues and child-related issues overseas; maintaining license, if required.

KFAM AFFI is seeking a Bilingual SocialWorker for a full-time position under the supervision of the Program Director overseeing cases in Los Angeles County area. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Carry and assist with FFA and Adoption case management
Conducts placements and in home visits to complete case records and reports in a timely manner
Responds to emergency calls; completes required reports according to rules & regulations.
Provides clinical support services and culturally appropriate referrals to relevant community services and resources.
Monitors RF activities and court ordered visits between foster children and their biological family members to ensure compliance with all program standards and policies.
Conducts RFA and adoption suitability home assessment interviews and write reports.
Conduct or facilitate parenting education, support groups, and other program deliverables
Monitor contractual deliverables, fulfill reporting duties, and attend contract/partner meetings
Collaborates with outreach team on recruitment and training of potential resource and adoptive families.
Potential opportunity to carry a small caseload of mental health service clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual in API language required
Masters Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, required
Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends and to serve on the emergency on-call rotation
Must have drivers license, auto insurance, and be willing to drive regularly.
Minimum 2 years experience in child welfare preferred
Experience in program coordination, foster care, adoptions, or DCFS a plus.
Strong ties to API community and/or experience working with API immigrant populations a plus.
