What You'll Do:

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee daily operations for the CMS Review and Validation Contractor (RVC) Program. This role serves as the primary point of contact to the CMS RVC COR and is responsible for ensuring all contract, operational, and medical review requirements are executed in accordance with CMS guidelines.
The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical background (RN), extensive Medicare program knowledge, and proven leadership experience managing large, complex healthcare projects.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the contractor's authorized representative on all daily operational matters.
Maintain ongoing communication with the CMS RVC COR regarding contract performance, staffing, and deliverables.
Oversee medical review activities and ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and FFS RAC Program requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams and manage staff required to support RVC operations.
Ensure accurate interpretation of Medicare coverage, documentation, and regulatory standards.
Monitor project progress, performance measures, and quality assurance outputs.
Prepare operational updates, reports, and data summaries for CMS and internal leadership.
Ensure effective workflows, staffing coverage, and adherence to deadlines and contract terms.
Provide clinical oversight and guidance across medical review tasks and methodologies.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Program Management experience overseeing large or complex healthcare projects.
Experience in medical review, healthcare auditing, or clinical review operations.
Extensive knowledge of the Medicare program, including CMS regulatory and operational requirements.
Working knowledge of the CMS FFS RAC Program.
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Education & Licensure
Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Management, or a related healthcare field from an accredited institution.
Current, active U.S. Nursing License (RN); must be maintained throughout employment.

About the Remote Licensed Therapist (1099 Contractor) role at Headspace:
Headspace is currently seeking part-time, independently licensed contractor therapists to provide direct, virtual care as part of a multidisciplinary team. We are currently accepting applications from providers licensed in MISSOURI.
Contractor therapists are asked to offer a minimum of 5 sessions/week, with the flexibility to offer additional sessions when needed. More is always welcome depending on your schedule. Please note that due to care demand and member scheduling fluctuations, it could take a number of weeks to achieve a consistent schedule.
The pay rate ranges vary by state and currently starts at $69 - $74 per session for the state of MISSOURI. Pay rates by state will be confirmed by recruiter during the interview process. Session length is 60 min for an intake and 45 min for a follow up appointment, with concurrent note-taking expected and included in the session rate. Session rates vary by individual and demand, and are determined based on a number of factors including location, licensure, experience, specializations and other relevant considerations.
All Headspace therapists must be licensed and reside in the US. Due to the nature of healthcare services provided to our customers, partners and members, all work must be provided in the U.S. Data, specifically personal health information may not be accessed, disclosed or used outside of the U.S. Please note that the U.S. is limited to the 50 states of the United States -- it does not include U.S. territories like Puerto Rico.

What you will do:
Provide high quality, innovative, tele-therapy to Headspace patients over a HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform
Complete, sign and lock clinical case notes in EMR within 48 hours of session. Note completion is part of the session rate. Additional time should generally not be charged for session notes.
Maintain your personalized database to record proof of licensure, license updates, expiration dates, personal information, etc.
Keep your availability calendar up to date
Stay in regular communication with clinical leadership, checking work emails in a timely fashion and responding within 24 hours, even if not working
Work with a collaborative care team including health coaches, other therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers
What you will bring:
Available to offer at least 5 sessions per week, with the ability to flex up when needed
Night and weekend flexibility a plus
Clinical competence in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.) and measurement-based care
Knowledge, ability, and commitment to providing culturally responsive care
Ability and willingness to deliver concurrent documentation. The session rate compensates the clinician for care delivery and notes.
Willingness and confidence to integrate cutting-edge technology into all aspects of your care
Familiarity, comfort and confidence with care delivery technology - various applications, tech tools, google web-apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc. **Tech-savviness is a must**
A safe secure location with reliable internet connection to provide Zoom-based psychotherapy
Effective communication skills and ability to work within interdisciplinary teams
3+ years experience providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples or families
Experience with risk management and higher acuity cases
Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor
An independent clinical license to practice in good standing (without need for clinical supervision)
BC-TMH credential, if required by your state of license
