Position Summary:
The Clinician will maintain a caseload of clients and provide treatment in a variety of modalities such as individual, group, and family. Collaboratively develop individual and family service plans and goals which are behaviorally specific with the family

Meet in-home/in community providing clinical services for older adults
Provide in office behavioral health outpatient sessions
Approximately 15 hours per week will be spent on the Older Adults aging program
This position will minimally conduct 13 hours of direct billable services with clients per week in the Behavioral Health Outpatient program maintaining 70% productivity
Requirements:
Master's Degree in related human services field
Clinical Licensure as a social worker or licensed professional counselor or posses an equivalent license from an accredited board
Knowledge, training and application of evidence-based treatment
Knowledge and application in the area of family systems and Trauma Informed Care
Minimum one year direct clinical experience, providing psychotherapy within a behavioral health setting

QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, School Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited college or university, required.
Behavior Specialist License, required.
Minimum 1 year of experience conducting FBA's, familiarity with common assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, EFLs, AFLS, etc.), and developing/implementing behavioral support plans for individuals under 21 years of age.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff and leadership team, while maintaining professional boundaries.

Perform surgery consults.

Maintains proper documentation of all consumer related contacts and ensures documentation is concise, timely, and congruent with practice standards for crisis service delivery.

The Behavioral Specialist serves as a keystone position amongst a multi-disciplinary team, serving as the lead for behavioral intervention design and application of behavioral supports. The behavioral specialist drives the functional behavior assessment process to identify key targets for the Positive Behavioral Support plan. The behavior specialist embodies, models, and emphasizes person-centered supports and supporting the Every Day Lives principles. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Utilizes positive approaches in every interaction with all direct support professionals, program specialists, behavior specialists, managers, directors, external stakeholders, and people supported. * Ensures that the wishes, hopes, dreams, and fears of each person supported are respected, and that their rights are honored across all settings. * Performs all job duties with the understanding that their highest priority is what is most important to the person supported. * Communicates as needed with all team members [i.e., person supported, direct support professionals, family members, advocates, support coordinators, therapists, and other providers] to ensure quality services and collaboration. * Acts as a positive role model and demonstrates professionalism, dignity, and respect towards the people supported, co-workers, management, and other associates both within and outside the organization. * Provides ongoing clinical consultation, training, and guidance to the direct support professionals. Ensures all team members are working towards the person's vision of a meaningful and everyday life. * Carries out all planning, development, prevention, and intervention strategies using a restraint free and least restrictive methodology. Licensing and Contractual Compliance: * Review ISP, BSP, related supporting documents, and annual plans in Evolv at least annually for each person supported, if not more often, and complete the Staff Document Review * Attends psychiatric/psychological consults to provide behavioral data and updates on application of new/existing interventions. * Coordinates the training of direct support professionals on the behavior support plan, restrictive procedures, psychiatric PRN protocols, and risk management plans (when applicable) anytime an update is made to the document, supports being provided, or as new team members join. * Meets with people supported and their teams, at a frequency which ensures effective support. * Completes timely documentation of service delivery including direct and consultation into the medical record. * Complete and pass the Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) training certification process within 3 weeks of hire. Administrative: * Completes an FBA for each person assigned caseload and updates annually using data to drive instructional decision making. * Implements, collects, trains and analyzes behavioral data on a monthly basis. * Completes 24 hours of required annual training and other educational opportunities that contribute to professional growth and development * Provides 24/7 on-call clinical consultation to direct support professionals and program specialists during rotating weeklong designated periods and during business hours for assigned caseload. * Develops additional resources, plans, and completes assessments to address identified needs of the person supported. This may include tools such as but not limited to: *
PRN Protocols * Communication Systems * Restrictive Procedure Plans * Refusal Plans * Desensitization Plans * Risk assessment & management plans * Performs other duties as requested by the Director of Clinical Operations * Correctly and accurately completes and submits by stated deadline, InVision Customized Services required information such as timesheets, mileage documentation, expense reports as well as any personal information required by federal, state, or local doctrines, such as verification of driver's license, physical exam, and vehicle insurance * Reports immediately any discrepancies related to the use of personal or company funds. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no direct or indirect reports. The position may contribute to the overall performance evaluation of direct support professionals as it pertains to the clinical aspect of an employee's job responsibilities. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A Master's Degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or Gerontology from an accredited college or university and work experience working directly with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Highly preferred to have two years of work experience working with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Direct experience writing behavioral support plans, which include social, emotional, environment, to address medical, health, safety, psychiatric, behavioral, social, and vocational outcomes strongly preferred. Leadership or cross functional teamwork experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of the general workings of federal, state, and county social services networks and funding sources preferable. The incumbent must have a working knowledge of positive and person-centered approaches and embrace the right of all people to have full and meaningful lives. Maintains proper documentation of all consumer related contacts and ensures documentation is concise, timely, and congruent with practice standards for crisis service delivery.
