About the Role
Deliver remote, evidence-based therapy to adult clients (18+), practicing modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, TLDP, IPT, EFT, and MI.
Maintain a caseload of 7-20 attended ongoing therapy and consult sessions per week
Use data to drive effective treatment and adjust your approach based on client progress
Collaborate with other mental health providers as needed and refer clients when appropriate
Maintain progress notes and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations
Requirements
Licensed in New York as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
Minimum of two years of clinical experience with adults (18+)
At least six months of teletherapy experience
Available for 8-24 hours per week, with 85% of time in client sessions
Available during regular business hours for a minimum of 1 hour per week during the first 4 weeks for training, followed by 30 minutes per month for ongoing support
Proficient with clinical assessments (e.g., PHQ-9) for tracking client progress
Willingness to be trained in clinical assessment, differential diagnosis, and DSM-5 criteria for diagnostic evaluation

Job Summary
Under general direction of Medical Director for University Health Services and under the supervision of one or more physicians provides health care, including acute episodic illness and/or injury, chronic disease management, and health maintenance, for patients of the University Health Service (UHS). Evaluates and treats common acute injuries and illness using guidelines and physician consultation by phone when necessary. Triages and refers to physicians any patients that require further evaluation. Provides these services for UHS patients and campus visitors.

Essential Functions
Manages acute, episodic, or stable chronic Illness or injury. Takes patient medical history, performs a physical examination, and evaluates age related patient development.
Orders and/or performs appropriate laboratory and other diagnostic tests, Interprets results of tests, and makes appropriate clinical judgments. Assesses physical and psychosocial health/illness status of patients. Recognizes abnormalities and brings to attention of physician those not covered by standard guidelines.
Regulates medications and diet, provides psychosocial support and counseling. Prescribes medications following guidelines. Dispenses starter doses of medication to patients when Pharmacy is closed. Uses Universal Precautions when exposed to blood and body fluids.
Coordinates all phases of patient health care, makes arrangements for outside examinations and refers patients to other health care professionals. Provides health education and teaching.
Maintains working knowledge of emergency equipment.
Provides functional supervision to RNs, Clinic Assistants and other support staff in the area.
Keeps precise problem oriented health records.
Participates in regularly scheduled department and organizational meetings, task forces, and committees. Participates in programs of quality improvement, peer review, and continuing education.
Understands and contributes to implementation of departmental and institutional goals for achieving non-discrimination and creating a multi-cultural environment.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Behavior Specialist will be a resource for staff who require assistance dealing with children having difficulties adjusting to camp. He or she will work with campers and or staff that need emotional support and guidance. This position will also assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for everyone.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Attend mandatory supervisors weekend in May (date and time to be determined)
Develops professional goals for the summer that will help support and meet GSWNY's mission and camp goals.
Works with the camp administrative team on developing and implementing the pre-camp training schedule.
Will research and provide, during pre-camp and throughout the summer, trainings to the staff on conflict resolution, behavior management, ages and stages of children and how to effectively work with challenging children.
Assist the Sr. Director of Camp Administration in reviewing personal information provided by parents/staff and creates an Individual Camper Plan (ICP) that will meet the required accommodations of campers with challenging behaviors.
Informs Camp Director of all serious situations involving violence, abuse, bullying or personnel issues.
Intervenes in any situation that will help to improve the quality of the relationships and experiences of campers and staff.
Assure that behavior management techniques are correctly applied to conflicts with children and or staff when necessary. Report incidents and accidents to supervisor immediately.
Considers community resources for support and guidance in dealing with issues that may arise.
Keeps the staff informed on problems and concerns on an on-going basis.
Will be consistently available to campers and staff and actively focused on the needs of the camp community.
Maintains a professional appearance in the camp community, while modeling responsible behavior for camp staff and campers.
Work with camp administrative team on placing staff appropriately into unit assignments.
Participates in all aspects of camp including pre-camp, open house and post camp.
