Description As a member of Apple's commercial litigation team, you will not be merely monitoring outside counsel. Rather, you will personally be formulating and driving strategy as well as working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all product areas. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment, and a trial-focused approach. Travel is anticipated. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists, and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests. Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of major law firm and/or in-house litigation experience, including experience with competition-related litigation, subpoenas, and other investigations. JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar. Preferred Qualifications Strong technology interest and aptitude. Trial experience and experience beyond competition related litigation. Excellent communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills are essential. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $180,300 and $271,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Ensures timely communication to After Hours Specialist on call after assigned shift to report shift information and any urgent needs. Utilizes trauma informed tools and practices to stabilize youth experiencing severe emotional that is affecting their placement stability. Provides emergency transportation to clients who are experiencing an emergency placement disruption, school change, discharging from jail/detention centers, returning from abscondance, etc. Conducts safety assessments of clients that report any allegations of neglect and/or abuse that includes, but is not limited, transporting clients for a medical-legal examination and/or transport to emergency respite care. Provides immediate assistance to clients who need a psychiatric assessment or hospitalization. Collaborates and consults with community crisis intervention programs such as CHAMPS or Mobile Crisis Stabilization team. Prepares a written summary regarding crisis support and after hours calls received at the end of the assigned shift to the Associate Administrator/Program Director of Foster Care and Adoption Services. Completes incident reports and submit them to the Associate Administrator/Program Director of Foster Care and Adoption Services at the end of the assigned shift. Reports all critical incidents and unusual incidents via telephone within the required timeframe per COMAR and CFSA policy and complete UI report by end of shift. Participates in a minimum of 5 hours of training quarterly which includes, but is not limited to: trauma informed care, therapeutic crisis intervention, CPI, de-escalation skills, communication skills, client specific trainings (i.e., LGBTQ, At-Risk youth, CSEC, etc.) and client engagement, etc. Attends mandatory all staff meetings as well as required group supervision with the Associate Administrator/Program Director of Foster Care and Adoption Services and bi- monthly FFI meetings. Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Acts as liaison with outside external agencies and representatives. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Position Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field with 2-year experience Strong commitment to teamwork and to serving difficult, vulnerable clients.
