The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors in Killeen is looking for a highly motivated licensed Clinician who is eager to serve military-connected children, adults, and families. The Cohen Clinic offers a variety of services to Post-9/11 Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard, and their family members. Qualifications
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
A goal of 26 contact hours with clients is expected weekly.
Perform and document client screenings, biopsychosocial assessments, and progress and referral information. Provide therapy for individual adults and children, couples, and family therapy to clients, with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatments.
Collaborate and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality mental health care.
Attend weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings.
Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Master's degree in social work, clinical mental health counseling, or in marriage and family therapy is required. Independent licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is preferred. Associate licensure may be considered with relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of experience is preferred. Experience working with adults, children, couples, and families is required; Knowledge in DSM-V diagnoses is required; Experience in diagnosing and treatment planning is required; Certification or documented proficiency in one or more of the following EBP's: CBT, PE, or CPT is preferred. Candidate must be willing to receive training in preferred EBPs. Experience working with military populations and/or Veterans is strongly preferred; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.
LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.

Interviews, evaluates and diagnoses patients identified as having mental health needs.
Provides individual and group psychotherapy and crisis intervention.
Develops, implements and reviews Individual Treatment Plans.
Assists with training and education of mental health, medical and other staff.
Assists in the implementation of Quality Improvement/Quality Management (QI/QM) programs and the monitoring of compliance with required policies, procedures and standards.
Provides routine consultation and communication with supervisor and/or attending psychiatric provider regarding the status of assigned patients.
Completes clinically appropriate and timely documentation.
Liaises with patient, patient families, on-site departments and community agencies to coordinate current treatment and/or facilitate aftercare services.
Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure established for department.
Performs related duties as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Located within the confines of a prison, jail or juvenile detention center. Security clearance is required; pre-employment drug testing is also required. Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, or Social Worker.
Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.

Qualifications:
You are a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor that is passionate about working with the underserved population and those who may be experiencing significant barriers to care. You want to grow a practice where you get to decide the best therapeutic modalities for your patient and work with them on achieving their therapeutic goals in an outpatient setting. You are comfortable providing individual therapy both in person and virtually.

-Comfortable working independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues.
-Possesses extensive knowledge of DSM-5-TR and utilizes initial interview and screenings to provide diagnoses and care planning.
-Collaborates with patients, and effectively communicates clinical impressions, while assessing strengths, barriers, and psychosocial needs.
-Ability to interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety, including whether a patient needs a higher level of care.
-Possesses computer/technology skills to efficiently document using an electronic health record and conduct telemedicine visits, as well as communicating/meeting with colleagues virtually.
