Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.
Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders.

Skilled, Independent Contractor will provide trauma-informed therapy to underserved populations on-site at community-based mental health outpatient clinic. FUNCTIONS:
Provide weekly client-centered, trauma-informed, individual, group, and family therapy as per the specifications outlined in the contract.
With the individual's consent, make concerted effort to engage identified support system in treatment.
Provide initial and ongoing assessment of presenting issues, diagnostic impressions, and recommended course of treatment.
Create treatment plan and routinely monitor progress in collaboration with client.
Coordinate care with other involved professionals (including psychiatry, case managers, primary care physicians, etc) to ensure continuity of care.
Enter intake and therapy appointments into electronic medical records at least 48 hours in advance.
Maintain accurate records of performance metrics and time spent including minimum billing expectations commensurate with scheduled hours. This includes entering progress notes within 3 days of service, including supportive documentation (e.g., treatment plans, safety plans, case management notes, briefs, triage notes, discharge summaries, no show or cancellation notes).
Encourage client's consistent attendance by routinely reviewing attendance policy and providing weekly reminder calls. Discharge inactive cases in a timely manner to promote access.
Provide linkage to identified resources as needed. This may include referrals for expanded mental health programming including Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Drug & Alcohol (D&A), Blended Case Management (BCM), Psychiatry or community services.
Provide crisis intervention including safety planning as needed. This includes follow up and coordination of care when individuals go to the CRC or acute level of care.
Attend all staff group supervisions and individual supervisions as required.
Meet weekly billable requirements as agreed upon.
Complete all mandatory trainings to maintain state, CBH, and NIAC credentialing; maintains all Continuing Education for licenses or certifications.
Complete all mandatory training to maintain state, CBH, and NIAC credentialing. This includes obtaining Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) training or other training as requested and actively participating in appropriate EBP consultation group(s), that are held for one hour/month (if applicable).
Communicate regularly with clinical supervisor to discuss current caseload, weekly productivity, and any relevant clinical or administrative questions or concerns to ensure the delivery of services accordingly.
Function in full compliance with all agency policies/procedures and federal, state, and local laws.
Participate in Interact's Compliance Program, including reporting suspected violations of the compliance program or applicable laws or regulations to immediate supervisor or Deputy Director of Continuous Quality Improvement.
Maintain necessary clearances, continuing education, licenses, and certifications to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

PAYMENT:
Agency will provide office space and support services including clinical supervision, administrative assistance, phone and computer, IT support, office supplies, and access to RELIAS for training and professional development.
Contractor will be paid an agreed upon rate per hour for billable services provided.
Contractor will submit invoices for billable services by the end of business day on Mondays. All required paperwork (including progress notes and up-to-date treatment plans must be completed) before the program supervisor will sign-off on invoices. Services delivered without a corresponding progress note or current treatment plan may not be paid. Late invoices (30+ days after service delivery) must be approved by the program administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Contractors must meet one of the following criteria:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Human Services field.
(i) Has a graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum.
(ii) Has an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE) or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
(iii) Is licensed in a generally recognized clinical discipline that includes mental health clinical experience.

Leadership
Coordinates the overall clinical direction of treatment for the children assigned to caseload, in collaboration with family and other treatment professionals.
Provides leadership in the treatment plan development and instruction and direction to other team members in implementing it.
Planning
• Participates in performance improvement activities.

Job Summary
The Intake and Assessment Specialist provides comprehensive intake and assessment case management services to individuals who are currently incarcerated, ensuring timely identification and response to their needs. Offers expert consultation to staff on prison-related issues and acts as a primary liaison with Prison Health Services, YesCare, the Defenders Association, court officers, and probation and parole offices to promote coordinated care and clear, effective communication.
Essential Functions
Receive and process referrals from multiple sources for services to incarcerated individuals.

Develop and document individualized service care plans in collaboration with each client.

Summary
Contractor Therapist will provide a comprehensive assessment of individuals (who may be children or adults) who may have co-occurring diagnoses. The staff therapist develops a recovery plan in partnership with the individual/family. When indicated and appropriate, the recovery plan will include goals, objectives and interventions aimed to also address substance use and health & wellness goals which impact behavioral health goals. The Contractor Therapist uses a range of psychotherapeutic interventions, including evidence-based practices (EBPs), including motivational interviewing and may also include other EBPs.
Key Responsibilities
Provides recovery-oriented screenings and comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments for assigned individual with reference to substance use challenges, when appropriate.
Provides individual and group therapy to address addictive behaviors that complicate primary mental/behavioral health issues, using Evidence Based practices and approaches.
systematic in multidisciplinary team meetings, individual supervision, group supervision to review progress on cases to ensure communication and comprehensive approach to treatment including collaborating with external teams to ensure coordination between systems; participates in supervision/meetings aimed to enhance skills related to providing effective care.
Views individuals from a strengths approach in preparation of treatment plans, with a focus on recovery.
Completes assessments, reports, and structured screening tools on a regular basis (I.e., PHQ-9, tobacco screen, CAGE-Aid, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) scale, etc.) to ensure quality data and outcome reporting.
Maintains and updates community resources, provides information and shares with team.
Completes all clinical documentation and other required paperwork according to required time frames and according to program guidelines.
Participates in required clinical training and supervision sessions.
Participates in required agency meetings; attends in service training to meet mandated training hours and ensure professional development.
Maintains professional and ethical interactions and services.
Adheres to all requirements, expectations, guidelines, regulations, and procedures outlined by the program, COMHAR, CCBHC, and all regulatory bodies.
Plans and assists individuals to increase community tenure, enhance quality of life, and attain highest level of independent functioning.
Demonstrate active caseload management: evaluating level and frequency of care, outreach, and consistent scheduling, prompting care coordination (as appropriate), and following discharge/aftercare planning.
Requirements
Outpatient Therapist Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field. or;
Full certification as an addiction's counselor or a co-occurring disorder professional by a statewide certification body which is a member of a National Certification Body or certified by another state government's certification board. (Certification includes: CAADC (Child & Adolescent Anxiety Disorders Clinic), ADC, CAAC (Certified Associate Addictions Counselor), CCJP, CCDP, and CCDPD). Advanced degree preferred with experience working with individuals diagnosed with both mental/behavioral health and substance use diagnoses. (Agency works with each clinician to develop a training program to expand their expertise in evidence-based practices).
Active professional licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, or equivalent)-or pre-licensed clinicians with supervision options, if applicable.
1-2 years of experience in behavioral health /substance use field.
Experience providing mental health or behavioral health therapy.
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
