The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for developing appropriate programs and behavior intervention plans as well as supervising their implementation. The Behavior Analyst develops comprehensive and focused treatment plans for children based on medical necessity for the remediation of the deficits of the child's autism diagnosis. The Behavior Analyst continually monitors their assigned teams and each learner's progress in order to provide the most relevant treatment.

What you'll be doing:
Clinical Practice
Assessing, supervising, and evaluating learners by administering; ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland, AFLS, Essential for Living or other Functional Behavior Assessments
Creating and supervising the implementation of individualized goals and objectives for center-based, community, in-home, and telehealth programs.
Creating individualized behavior intervention plans, monitoring implementation and providing feedback as necessary. The Behavior Analyst will provide direct behavior analytic therapy as needed.
Conducting parent trainings as clinically appropriate for the learner.
Supervision
Capturing and contriving opportunities to teach staff and learners in the natural environment and trains others to do the same.
Participating in parent meetings, treatment meetings, stakeholder meetings, trainings and other meetings as needed.
Supporting initial training alongside the training team, assisting with ongoing training with a focus on retaining and supporting behavior technicians.
Developing and retaining staff through performance reviews, discipline, development activities and formal and informal training in accordance with Hope Network's Employee Handbook and BACB guidelines.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in a field related to Behavior Analysis (Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred)
BCBA Certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Current State of Michigan Behavior Analyst Licensure
At least 1 year of experience working as a BCaBA or under the supervision of a BCBA in training hours
At least 2 years of experience working with youth diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder

Job Summary:
Supervises residents and ensures them a safe and secure environment. Activities include processing resident intakes and discharges, supervising recreational activities, teaching proper hygiene and conduct, monitoring resident behavior, intervening in crisis situations and documenting incidents and resident interaction.

Processes resident intake. Documents all required resident personal information. Conducts personal searches of residents. Logs all resident personal items and stores any items not allowed in the detention center away from residents until they are no longer living at the detention center. Orients new residents and parents to the facility; explaining the philosophy, policies, procedures and program rules.
Education and Experience:
Two years of college (30 semester hours) towards a social science or human services related degree is required OR High School Diploma / GED Equivalent with two years of work experience in a child / adolescent care facility or closely related setting.

This position will coordinate additional assignments to appropriate programs and will provide services in a welcoming manner, demonstrating co-occurring disorder competencies. This position is not responsible for the direct supervision of staff. This position works with those in crisis to provide case consultation, crisis intervention including but not limited to risk assessment screening and inpatient assessment, service coordination, and referrals/linkage to resources for individuals, who were identified as requiring mental health/substance use-related supports. This position reports to the Supervisor/Operations Manager as assigned. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide essential access system functions for all populations including screening, eligibility determination, collection of relevant information for reporting and decision-making purposes, referrals, provision of relevant consumer information and provision of outreach services when necessary.

Conduct emergency on-site and or virtual assessments of clients to determine the need for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. The position is responsible in providing traditional healing and doctoring to community members visiting or residing in service areas. The Traditional Practitioner will provide Traditional Anishinaabek methods for treating illness and/or problems of all types. The Traditional Practitioner is to help synchronize services so that Western and Traditional Anishinaabek medicine can work together.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (includes, but is not limited to, the following)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of formal practicing of Traditional Medicine for a tribal community required. Must be able to provide references from respected medicine people and/or communities worked in.

Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the Sault Tribe Insurance Department. At least 2 years of experience working with youth diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder

Overview of Position:
Under the direction of the Manager of Behavioral Health with the established policies and procedures, the Integrated Care
Behavioral Health Clinician promotes efficient coordination of patient care through collaborative practice within the health center
for all populations served. This includes, but is not limited to, brief social work behavioral interventions, short-term behavioral
health and SUD counseling, assessments and referrals (internal and external) to the appropriate level of care. Responsible for
working with the providers, nurses and all team members, and referring out to community resources to assist in addressing
personal, environmental and socioeconomic issues that inhibit positive health outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program with full Michigan licensure as Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Clinical preferred. Will consider a candidate with a LLMSW credential. The employee with an LLMSW must take and pass the ASWB Examination within six (6) years in accordance with the State of Michigan requirements to retain employment.
OR
A master's degree in counseling from a CACREP accredited program with full Michigan licensure as a LPC.

All licensed clinical staff must maintain licensure as a condition of employment. Minimum of two years' experience in community-based health care setting; medical social work experience preferred.
