Will monitor and analyze the delivery of health care services in accordance with claims submitted, and analyzes qualitative and quantitative data in developing strategies to improve provider performance and member satisfaction. Will be expected to identify potential discrepancies in provider billing practices and intervene for resolution and education or if necessary involve Special Investigation Unit or the Utilization Management area.

+ Implement the pre-payment and retrospective review processes that are consistent with established industry and corporate standards and are within the Payment Integrity Clinician's professional discipline.Effectively function in accordance with applicable state, federal laws and regulatory compliance. Implements all reviews according to accepted and established coding criteria, as well as other approved guidelines, payment and medical policies.Promote quality and efficiency in the delivery of review services.

Qualifications
Education:
● Masters in Social Work from an accredited institute.
Experience:
● At least 2 years of experience post licensure providing evidence based brief therapies and crisis intervention, with moderate to severe mental health disorders.
● Ability to perform evidenced based therapies, with little to no supervision.
● Ability to assess suicidal/homicidal risk and other high risk situations (psychosis, drug/alcohol use/intoxication), create safety plans and adherence to W&I code, Section 5150 regulations, with little to no supervision.
● Ability to diagnose using DSM-5 and create a treatment plan consistent with diagnosis.
● Knowledge of community resources.
● In compliance with patient safety standards, must be able to effectively communicate in English; Bilingual abilities preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
● Knowledge of Epic EMR preferred.
● Detailed knowledge and experience with evidenced based group and individual therapies.
● Working knowledge of psychotherapy billing and coding.
● Detailed Knowledge and experience working with co-occurring populations (chronic health conditions, mental health and substance use).
● General understanding and experience with multidisciplinary teams and PCMH
● General experience supervising staff
● Working understanding of Microsoft office and google doc's experience preferred.
● Ability to effectively communicate in English, in compliance with patient safety standards. Bilingual abilities preferred.
Certifications/Licensure:
● Current licensure with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LCSW in the state of California, dual license in Nevada preferred, in good standing.
● Current CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association (BLS for the Healthcare Provider) or ability to obtain prior to start date.
● Masters in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

5. Thorough documentation of services and appropriate billing is completed within a timely manner.
6. Addresses referrals from providers including referrals, providing resources as needed, and providing warm hand-offs as able.
7. Attend collaborative behavioral health based meetings within the hospital and community to enhance cohesive treatment.
8. Participates in PCMH committees to assess needs and coordinate services.
9. Responds to the needs of the department by performing other duties, as necessary.
