Visit us online at: *************************** Position Summary The Residential Therapist (PRN) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of inpatient, continuing care and family services. This includes providing clinical support to other staff members, conducting interventions, conducting psychosocial assessments, developing the resident's treatment plan, conducting group, individual and family therapy. Job Duties: Monitors adherence to the program schedule and assists the multidisciplinary team in coordinating the resident's care. Attends and assists in treatment team meetings and clinical staffing meetings. Participates in group and individual supervision. Communicates with unit staff regarding resident's progress. Provides admissions personnel with ongoing admissions and discharge information. Participates in AMA prevention and intervention activities. Completes an initial bonding session with the resident within 24 hours of admission or by the next business day. Conducts emotional, behavioral and social assessment within 7 days of admission, and determines what, if any, further assessments are needed (psychological, vocational, etc.).
