Performs general building maintenance such as changing light bulbs, doors, locks, bathrooms, lunch rooms and more. Regularly check the building for repairs and repair as need it. Installs equipment and appliances. Performs general building maintenance functions, such as painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Diagnose problems and make repairs or work with appropriate contractors, and other repair personnel to resolve issues that arise with the facilities, or machinery. Maintains effective communication with internal and external project participants. Performs general labor, such as carrying, stacking, and sorting of materials used in and around the building (debris removal). Assemble and disable furniture. Repairs machines, equipment, or structures using hand tools such as hammers, drills, levels, wrenches, measuring tape and more. Always maintains working area clean and organized. Adheres to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring safe work environment. Required Skills/Abilities: Training: Open to learn and perform cross training in different areas. Communicating: Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing and maintain confidentiality. Leadership: Ability to lead by example and obtain support from co-workers and work independently and as part of a team. Skills: Mechanically inclined along with problem-solving skills required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education, Experience, and/or Certifications: Experience: One year of relevant work experience required.
