The National Wild Turkey Federation is a mission-driven, membership-based, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey and preservation of our hunting heritage. Job Summary:
The National Director of Wild Turkey Research will lead the organization's scientific strategy and research initiatives focused on wild turkey ecology, management, and conservation. This senior role is responsible for identifying and helping to drive needed field research, securing funding, developing collaborations, managing our endowed university programs focused on the wild turkey, overseeing our Tech Committee (collaboration with state agency wild turkey biologists) and translating science into actionable conservation strategies and policy recommendations.
The ideal candidate is a respected expert in avian ecology or wildlife biology, with a proven track record of leading research projects, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and mentoring early-career scientists. This position offers the opportunity to influence national conservation priorities and improve outcomes for one of North America's most iconic game birds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Research Leadership
Catalyst for meaningful, multi-year research projects on wild turkey population dynamics, behavior, habitat use, disease ecology, genetics, and/or harvest management.
Oversee and manage the NWTF's national wild turkey Request for Proposal program.
Serve as liaison and primary point of contact providing guidance and input on research conducted through the NWTF's endowed professorships and programs at various universities.
Strategic Vision
Serve as one of the organization's top subject matter experts on wild turkeys.
Identify and prioritize emerging threats and research gaps affecting wild turkey populations across their range.
Develop science-based conservation strategies and recommend best practices for habitat management and policy initiatives.
Collaboration & Outreach
Build and maintain partnerships with state and federal agencies, universities, tribal nations, NGOs, and private landowners.
Represent the organization at conferences, scientific panels, stakeholder meetings, and media engagements.
Communicate findings to both scientific and lay audiences through reports, publications, magazine articles, presentations, and social media.
Funding & Development
Pursue grant opportunities, donor support, and institutional funding to sustain and expand research initiatives.
Assist development staff in crafting compelling scientific narratives for fundraising materials.
Attend annual NWTF Convention, regional meetings and training opportunities, as necessary.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven track record of leading research projects, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and mentoring early-career scientists.
Proven ability to secure research funding through grants or contracts.
Strong publication record associated with habitat management or applied research in peer-reviewed journals.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in wildlife or avian research and/or management, with direct experience studying/managing wild turkeys strongly preferred.
Experience working with wildlife management agencies and nonprofit conservation groups.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of hunting regulations, game bird management, and North American conservation frameworks.
Experience leading field-based research teams and mentoring junior scientists.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Provides support to the Programmatic Trading Manager and Programmatic Trading team.
Primarily responsible for the implementation and day-to-day management of programmatic advertising campaigns.

SUMMARY OF JOB:
This is a newly formed and exciting position for Catholic Charities. Act as the primary liaison between apprenticeship program directors, curriculum leads, and community college faculty for the purpose of establishing CPL pathways.
Analyze not-for-credit training curriculum used by apprenticeship programs for the purposes of identifying CPL opportunities and develop a centralized database of CPL points of contacts.
Organize and evaluate effectiveness of in-person and virtual workshops.

The Position and Job Summary
Under enhanced supervision, the Associate Consumer Service Coordinator provides information, advocacy, and service coordination for individuals and their families. This part-time role requires a commitment of 16 hours per week, working 4 hours per day
over 4 days. The caseload will be shared between two student Associate Service Coordinators, ensuring manageable service delivery.
With guided coaching and supervisory oversight, contribute to the development, monitoring, and evaluation of basic program plans for individuals, making revisions as needed.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including forms and reports, in compliance with regulations and NLACRC policies.

RAND is seeking a Director of Corporate Planning and Analysis. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Finance & Operations, the Corporate Planning & Analysis team manages the business planning process, advises senior leadership on how to shape the plans of research divisions and enterprise businessfunctions, identifies and analyzes variance to plans, and conducts analysis to support corporate decision-making involving strategic shifts, major investments, internal operations, and business and market development.
Specific Duties
- Managing the annual three-year rolling business planning process including:
Designing, improving, documenting, and implementing business planning policies.
Coordinating and presenting plans to senior leadership.
Assessing division and department plan submissions, recommending revisions based upon business analysis, and advising senior leadership on recommended changes.
Acting as liaison between the SVP and division and department leaders.
- Identifying and analyzing variances to business plans and developing associated recommendations for divisions, departments, and senior leadership.
- Coordinating the development and tracking of financial performance metrics across the enterprise, particularly with Finance and Accounting.
- Conducting sophisticated business analyses to support senior leadership decisions regarding strategy, investments, and internal operations.
- Conducting analysis upon request to help improve RAND's competitiveness and business outcomes to include:
Identifying key competitiveness issues and business opportunities for further analysis.
Assessing the value of pursuing general and specific market opportunities and providing associated decision support to research divisions.
Developing information about clients and competitors to inform business decisions.
-Lead outreach and education efforts to help other parts of the organization understand RAND's financial structure and the implications of operational changes.
Management
As the team leader, the director will be responsible for ensuring RAND maintains a strong team of trusted financial planning/corporate planning advisors to senior leadership to help the organization make evidence-based long-term decisions. As such the director will be responsible for managing staff, conducting performance reviews, hiring staff, and providing guidance, training, and mentoring to help attract, retain, and develop a diverse high performing team.
Qualifications
A demonstrated track record of effective team leadership of diverse, highly skilled financial management professionals; attracting, selecting, and developing people; collaborating and influencing across matrix organizations; and planning and analysis that has led to successful corporate decisions and business outcomes.
Ability to demonstrate bringing a big-picture perspective to planning and analysis while also maintaining strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize effectively across a broad range of potential activity and must be financially astute with strong quantitative analytical skills.
Superior communication, listening, and influencing abilities are equally critical so that the director can constructively engage and partner well with senior executives and a broad array of diverse RAND staff across the enterprise.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or related Master's Degree preferred
Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in an organization that conducts applied research or consulting focused on public policy impact potentially in federally funded research and development centers, universities, think tanks, research institutes, and consulting firms.
Minimum requirements include 10 years of related experience with at least 5 years of supervisory experience required, preferably in Financial and Corporate planning or a closely related area.

PROGRAM (SDP) LEAD TRAINING SPECIALIST
The Organization
North Los Angeles County Regional Center “NLACRC” is a private, non-profit agency that is contracted with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. NLACRC is
one of the largest regional centers in California and has proudly served the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley since 1974. We serve individuals across the lifespan from infants and toddlers, school age children, transition-age youth, to
adults and aging adults.
SCOPE: Provides information, advocacy, and case management stabilization services for consumer participants of the Self- Determination Program (SDP).
SUPERVISION: Receives general supervision from Consumer Services Supervisor/Manager.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (These are examples of the types of duties that may be performed. Additional duties may be added.)
1. Establish the individual budget, associated spending plan, and case management services to consumers registering and/or participating in Self-Determination Program services, including coordination and facilitation of individual program planning to identify SDP-
specific outcomes and supports.
2. Assists participants with the transition in and out of the SDP.
3. Assists in the transfer of funds originally distributed to any budget category to another budget category or categories, as identified in statute and/or regulation.
4. If selected as an Independent Facilitator by the participant, will assist in the person-centered planning process and the development of the SDP-based IPP.
Will be an active participant/advocate in the decision-making process as related to the development of the individual budget, assessment of short-term
and long-term needs, access and coordination of participant-selected services and supports to meet those needs as identified in the consumer's IPP.
5. Documentation, completing forms and reports in accordance with regulations and NLACRC policies and procedures.
6. Works with Independent Facilitators and Financial Management Services providers who can assist with person-centered planning process, payments and provide employee-related services.
7. Initiates and responds to consumer, family, service provider, and outside agency communications on topics including but not limited to SDP-related service eligibility and SDP-related problem resolution.
8. Schedule and attend interdisciplinary meetings with individuals served, family members, service providers, advocates, etc.
9. May require re-training staff on needed areas that will be identified.
10. Shadows and coaches CSCs in the field when planning and conducting meetings.
11. Assist in addressing issues specific to service delivery and program planning including assessing service provision within SDP.
12. May be asked to perform other tasks/ activities to ensure that applicable timelines, performance measures and customer service goals are met.
13. Identify barriers to service delivery and implement culturally sensitive strategies that embody empathy, trust, and respect; comfort working in
underserved and non-traditional office settings to meet our community needs.
EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field and two years of related experience. A Master's degree in a related subject may be
substituted for experience.
