About this Role
This role within the enterprise / named account segment focuses on both the acquisition of prospective customers, in addition to the expansion of existing customer accounts. Within this named account segment, you will work a set of target accounts in the Digital Natives and or the Commercial sub-segments. This position targets companies with more than 2,500 employees or above $1 billion in revenue. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement from administrative through executive levels within network operations, development and technical infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan to achieve quarterly sales and annual revenue targets in a defined named and/or account list.
Drive new business and strategic acquisition within your named accounts by identifying and winning new high-potential logos as well as driving customer expansion (upsell and cross sell Cloudflare solutions) and renewals within your territory.
Build a robust sales pipeline through continual engagement and nurturing of key prospect accounts.
Understand customer use-cases and how they pair with Cloudflare's portfolio solutions in order to identify new sales opportunities.
Craft and communicate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services. Drive awareness through regular outbound campaigns on product and feature roadmap updates.
Effectively scale the territory with partners

Requirements
Direct B2B sales experience, adept at new business acquisition and account management.

About the Department
AccountExecutives, Channel Account Managers, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Sales Operations - all working together help our customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences. The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real, technical problems while creating the revenue streams that help the company provide free service to millions in our community.
Based in Germany, you will drive sales into large enterprise/strategic accounts across DACH for Cloudflare's solutions. Large enterpriseaccounts include, but are not limited to, MNC's, G2000/CAC 40 companies, hyper-growth companies, and other organisations that have substantial requirements for Cloudflare solutions. Your strategic selling activities will include "hunter" type activities to proactively penetrate target named large accounts, detailed account planning, focused relationship building and leading effective sales campaigns to successful closure.
The ideal candidate will possess both a major account sales background in technology solutions, primarily software based, that enables them to drive engagement with senior level decision makers within Cloudflare's target customers. Industry experience selling into Finance, Retail, Manufacturing and other Enterprise verticals along with Service Provider is desired in this role.
As an EnterpriseAccountExecutive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing against a Sales strategy/plan for Strategic accounts, as well as driving large account sales into DACH/German-speaking markets to achieve revenue targets. Therefore, you must have a strong network of contacts with decision makers in large enterpriseaccounts across the region, and have experience selling complex solutions to these accounts. You will have an intuitive understanding and experience with the key business and technical needs of these and large accounts and will create and deliver compelling value propositions to them for Cloudflare solutions.

Source and close net new logos within a given territory within the Financial Services vertical, specifically across Retail Banking, Capital Markets, and Wealth & Asset Management institutions
Research and understand your customers and prospects to gain insight into their business challenges and Box value proposition
Influence and drive the sales process while managing through multi-layer stakeholders in Enterprise organizations
Exercise judgment in selecting methodologies, techniques and evaluation criteria throughout the sales process
Collaborate with internal partners to move deals forward and ensure customer success
WHO YOU ARE
5+ years of work experience in Sales with a track record of success, working with Financial Services institutions.
Understanding of how Financial Service institutions operate and ability to get multi-threaded across these institutions
Demonstrated adaptability in learning about new technology and products
Have clear examples of closing complex deals and your sales process
Effectively uses a repeatable method for uncovering greenfield opportunities and building out a new territory
Experience in building professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior executives
Prior success in ECM, Cloud, or SaaS sales
