Michael Tso holds 36 patents and has been a technology trailblazer in enterprise data systems and mobile infrastructure for over 25 years. Michael co-founded Cloudian and grew it into a world leader in enterprise big data management. Michael also co-founded Gemini Mobile Technologies, who supplied to large Telcos the most scalable, mission critical mobile messaging systems. At search engine pioneer Inktomi, Michael led engineering for an e-commerce search engine, and designed a network congestion control system for KDDI which later became an industry standard. At Intel, he developed web acceleration technology and collaborated with Nokia on NarrowBand Sockets, commonly known as SmartMessaging, which enabled the world's first SMS ringtone download service. Michael also invented the core patents for mobile data synchronization that seeded IntelliSync which grew into a multi-billion-dollar business. Michael was part of the Ubiquitous Computing research team at Xerox's Palo Alto Research Center, where he helped develop PARCTab - the world's first wireless, location aware, wearable touch tablet. Michael graduated from MIT with an MS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, BS in Computer Science, BS in Electrical Engineering, and a minor in Economics. While at MIT, Michael worked under TCP/IP patriarch Dr. David Clark on distributed file systems for intermittent network connectivity.

Michael Morgan has more than 20 years of experience in managing all aspects of finance and administration for private and publicly held technology companies, building companies from start up through IPO and leading M&A transactions on both the buy and the sell side. Prior to Panzura, he served as CFO at Model N, where he built out a worldwide finance and administration team and helped guide the company to profitability during a period of significant growth in both revenue and employees. Prior to Model N, he served as CFO at Skybox Security, where he raised several rounds of venture financing and scaled the company’s financial systems and corporate infrastructure as they rapidly grew. Before Skybox, Michael was CFO at BackWeb Technologies (Nasdaq: BWEB), a publicly traded provider of technologies and solutions for massively scalable Web synchronization technologies. Michael was also CFO at Talarian Corp., where he orchestrated their successful IPO and led their acquisition by Tibco (Nasdaq: TIBX). Prior to Talarian, Michael was CFO and board member at Enlighten Software Solutions, where as one of the two original executives he managed their successful IPO and secondary offering. Michael spent the first six years of his career gaining financial and operations consulting experience as a manager with KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP. He is a CPA and holds a BS from San Jose State University.

Gary Ogasawara is Cloudian’s first Chief Technology Officer, responsible for setting the company’s long-term technology vision and direction. Before assuming this role, he was Cloudian’s founding engineering leader. Prior to Cloudian, Gary led the Engineering team at eCentives, a search engine company. He also led the development of real-time commerce and advertising systems at Inktomi, an Internet infrastructure company. Gary holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley, specializing in uncertainty reasoning and machine learning.
