None of us have to be experts to facilitate change, we just have to be willing. I have spoken, presented, created, or published on practices that increase overall success for systemically non-dominant populations, and in STEM fields (in particular), persistence and completion among developmental education, veteran, and racial/ethnic non-dominant students, Learning Communities, difficult conversations in the classroom, and cultural responsive teaching. I have also worked with organizations to create equitable cultures, practices, and strategic implementations.
