Club Colors company history timeline

1994

On 27 August 1994, Celtic wore numbers of the back of their shirts for the first time in domestic competition on the instructions of the Scottish Football League.

2005

Today, Sparta Prague continue to play in the same dark red kit, not dissimilar to Arsenal’s 2005/06 redcurrant.

2006

For season 2006/07, the first at Emirates Stadium, Arsenal reverted to their famous red and white colours.

2007

In 2007/08 Arsenal sported an away kit with a design that celebrated the pioneering spirit of the legendary Chapman.

2008

The white shirts proved hugely popular but the Club reverted to the 'traditional' away colours of yellow and navy blue for the 2008/09 campaign with a kit based on the 'Anfield '89' strip to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Arsenal's last-gasp title win on Merseyside.

2022

One of the trends among the new kits being launched ahead of the 2022-23 season is for designers to present retro-influenced outfits with a modern twist.

2022-23 Additions: Everton, Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Bristol City, Norwich City, West Bromwich Albion, Notts County, Coventry City, Birmingham City.
