What You'll Do * Demonstrate all phases of the sales cycle, including prospecting, acquiring, identifying and qualifying customers * Organize joint sales calls with vendors and senior sales staff while generating new business and revenue through cold calling * Prepare sales orders, detailed quotes, weekly sales reports while maintaining an expense account * Meet or exceed monthly sales budget * Attend sales meetings, trainings, and other work-related gatherings * Effectively communicate detailed information on products and services provided to both established and potential customers * Provide detailed product quotes for construction projects What You'll Need * Proficient at gathering market data along with negotiating, closing, and follow-up of sales orders while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities * Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet * Decision-making abilities with excellent customer service and both verbal and written communication skills Your Education * High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
