Our client is seeking a Welding Supervisor for an excellent on-site position located in the Cordele, GA area. Responsibilities include:
Responsible for daily welding and cutting operations, leading these teams and aligning with production goals and safely standards.
Partner with plant manager and operations leaders on projects and timelines.
Input and maintain proper record keeping for materials, equipment, work performed, and inspections in compliance with Quality Standards.
Ensure quality, compliance, and progress via customer specifications and timelines.
Perform regular checks on all equipment to ensure operation and safety, adhere to preventative maintenance schedules
Lead, train, and mentor team to develop skills, techniques, and productivity.
Schedule workflows, address issues, monitor results, ensure safety, and provide reporting to operations leaders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 8 years of welding and cutting experience, to include TIG/MIG and cutting equipment such as plasma cutters and saws.
2+ years of management, lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, or welding environment.
Highschool diploma required, trade school or certifications preferred.
Experience working with enterprise systems, data input, and reporting preferred.

Edwards, Inc. is a full-service industrial general contractor providing constriction, fabrication, and crane services. We are currently seeking an ASME/Hygienic Welder based out of our Spring Hope, NC office. The typical work hours are Monday thru Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Working with the ASME and Hygienic Division.
Executing ASME National Board Repairs.
ASME stamped fabrication.
Fitting and welding of hygienic piping systems.
Perform all other additional assignments per supervisors direction.
Ideal Candidates Should Have:
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
Continually walk/stand on surfaces which may be even/uneven, stable/unstable, and varying compositions.
Work in awkward spaces and/or positions including confined spaces and climbing.
The ability to routinely lift up to 135+ lbs.
Excellent hand/eye coordination, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
Essential Requirements & Skills:
Requirements
Experience in GTAW, GMAW, and SMAW welding processes.
Successful completion of a welding and/or skills test.
Must have a great attitude and willingness to perform in a variety of scenarios.
Occasional weekend work and travel is required.
Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety.
Additional Skills
Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Bilingual Skills (English/Spanish) is a plus.
