What You'll Do
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production machines on a daily basis to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role involves ensuring machines are running smoothly, maintaining a steady production pace, and meeting quality standards. The operator will follow established procedures and safety guidelines while working in a team environment to achieve production goals
What We're Looking For
Operate and monitor production machinery according to the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure machines are functioning correctly, reporting and addressing any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on machines to prevent downtime.
Follow production schedules of products for quality assurance, removing defective items as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
Record production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and maintenance performed.
Communicate effectively with team members, shift supervisors, and maintenance personnel to resolve production issues.
Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Other tasks, as assigned.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1-2 (one to two) years' experience operating corrugate manufacturing machinery.
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine functions.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with production metrics and quality control processes is a plus.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
Skills
Attention to detail and strong observation skills.
Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve mechanical issues quickly.
