    Job Description CNC Mill Operator NIGHT SHIFT (20% night shift differential pay) Defense & Aerospace Machine Shop Shift: Night shift Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required. CNC OPERATOR/ PARTS LOADING RESPONSIBILITIES: Loading material / parts into machine and running program. Daily maintenance on machine (checking fluid levels, cleaning out chips, etc). In-process inspection of parts. Minor program changes, mainly tool offsets. Replacement of worn or damaged tools (inserts, boring bars, end mills, drills, etc). Sign-off of paperwork accompanying parts (MOT, Inspection Traveler) Proper handling of parts. Proper identification of parts / parts containers to maintain traceability to job number & split lot. EXPERIENCE / TRAINING REQUIRED: Machine operation. Mazak a plus Part holding methods. Machine maintenance requirements. Reading and understanding B/P's including assemblies, dimensions, tolerances, symbols, notes, abbreviations, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing, and any other standard nomenclature per customer, government, or industry standards. Use of basic inspection, measuring and test equipment to verify dimensions of product. Basic knowledge of CNC code. Installation and removal of perishable tooling. Company specific handling requirements. Company specific product identification requirements Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma or trade school Must be at least 18 years old and Authorized to work in the US Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
