What you'll do
* *Title support & underwriting liaison*

Qualifications
* *Required*
* J.D. from an accredited law school and active *Texas Bar* license in good standing.
* 3+ years' experience in *Texas real estate, title insurance, or underwriting*.
* Demonstrated proficiency drafting Texas real estate instruments (deeds, ROFRs, liens, seller-finance packages).
* Working knowledge of *Texas title standards, TDI rules*, and common underwriting practices.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interface confidently with underwriters, escrow officers, realtors, lenders, and outside counsel.
* *Preferred*
* Prior experience as title counsel, claims counsel, or senior examiner.
* Familiarity with *TLTA* guidelines and local county practices in West Texas.
* Experience responding to objection letters and managing title curative from end to end.
* Closing/signing support experience.

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. Summary

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree with 6 or more years of experience in the Construction, Engineering, or Risk Consulting field OR

+ Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area
+ AND
+ Have a high level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office

**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in either Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or equivalent
+ 20 or more years of combined experience in Construction Management/Project Management/Engineering consulting
+ Construction experience with an advanced level of knowledge of construction processes, quality management and associated risks and exposures
+ Experience with data center construction
+ Experience in energy projects (i.e. solar panel installations, geothermal power plants, hydroelectric dams, biomass power plants, nuclear power stations and SMR's, power transmission lines, energy storage facilities)
+ Knowledge of NFPA 70E Standards
+ Hazard identification & mitigation skills; analytical aptitude
+ Knowledge of project cost/scheduling and supply chains in construction
+ Knowledge of Zurich Construction Builder's Risk Insurance product
+ Awareness of Construction Workforce and Economic issues
+ Intermediate knowledge of exposures, controls and best practice risk improvement methodologies
+ Capable of public speaking, presentation skills, developing programs to address industry needs and marketing/consulting services for fee
+ Comfortable with technology, building information modeling, and standard computer software programs and communication applications

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. Essential Job Functions:

1. Complete Casualty Loss Control Department internal report forms and client confirmation letters.

7. Recommendations for loss controls needed to eliminate or control loss exposures and agreement to implement the same

Assists in the development and presentation of programs and training seminars for clients and other departments in the Company.
Responds to special requests from Underwriting Department and clients with prior approval from Loss Control Department Management.

Qualifications
