We currently have an opening for a Complex Claims Consulting Director focused on Healthcare Professional Liability for CNA Insurance. CNA is a market leader in insuring healthcare providers and facilities. This individual contributor role will work on the largest exposure claims across all Healthcare segments. This individual must have the ability to step into a claim at various points, evaluate next steps and proactively move the claim toward resolution. The claim professional will handle approximately 65 high exposure claims. 25% travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
* Oversees the most complex investigations of claims, liability and damages and determines claim strategy, including if a claim should be settled or litigated.
* Develops and directs the execution of the litigation management strategy.
* Counsels management on legal risks, claim and litigation strategy and obligations in complex matters.
* Manages litigation by staff, coverage or outside counsel. Monitors trials, tracks legal and regulatory developments. Advises management and claim professionals regarding issues, approaches and impact of changes.
* Directs the negotiation of the most complex settlement packages, ensuring adequate reserves and cost effective settlements.
* Provides research, legal analysis, counsel and guidance on legal or claim handling questions or issues.
* May participate with senior management in the development and implementation of claims policy and business strategy.
* Mentors, guides, develops and delivers training to less experienced Claim Professionals.

* Realizes and addresses subrogation/salvage opportunities or potential fraud occurrences by evaluating the facts of the claim and making referrals to appropriate Claim, Recovery or SIU resources for further investigation.
* Achieves quality standards by appropriately managing each claim to ensure that all company protocols are followed, work is accurate and timely, all files are properly documented and claims are resolved and paid timely.
* Keeps senior leadership informed of significant risks and losses by completing loss summaries, identifying claims to include on oversight/watch lists, and preparing and presenting succinct summaries to senior management.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a District Administrator to support the District Manager, district staff, agents, and policyholders in our San Antonio, TX office. Enter paper applications into FDE
Batch, scan, and index documents (claims, underwriting, policy administration, policy delivery receipts) into the imaging system.

Manage incoming email and mail: distribute, print, file, and process according to procedures.
Prepare and ship outgoing mail for customers, agents, and Home Office.
Follow company document retention policies, including shredding, storage, and imaging timelines.
District & Agent Support
Maintain secure and organized district office and supply room.
Order and manage office supplies, company forms, and postage.
Manage Premium Receipt Books: request, print, and mail to customers or agents as needed.
Provide general support to District Manager and staff, including handling reports, correspondence, and scheduling tasks as assigned.
Equipment & Facilities
Submit and track service requests for office equipment.
Ensure adequate supply levels are maintained through centralized ordering systems.
Qualifications

The Account Executive Officer (AEO), Public Sector Services will partner with agents and brokers to provide coverage for new and renewal business based on customers' needs. This role is seen as a technical resource. As an AEO, you are decisive, detail-oriented, and know how to build relationships internally and externally to drive results. Your ability to independently assess complex risk and sell our products in challenging markets will contribute to the profitability and success of Travelers.
What Will You Do?
* Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.

Position Responsibilities:
Interact and build lasting relationships with clients to have an impact on their life and our community while attending to their insurance needs.
Engages customer via inbound and outbound telephone calls to assess insurance needs and rating variables.
Completes sale of policy by collecting down payment and uploading policy.
Performs cross selling on other services offered by the company (property insurance, commercial insurance, etc.)
Maintains records on customers including information about the consumer, source of lead, response to quote/offer application and policy according to procedures established by management.
Completes all required training in a timely manner including detailed knowledge of Kemper products and coverages.
Must obtain and/or maintain Property and Casualty license to sell and service insurance, within a specified time of employment as needed based on position.
Must pass licensing exam within the specified number of attempts established by the department.
Interacts with prospective customers in a professional manner to provide them with an insurance quote and if purchased, converts the lead to an actual policy.
Assists customer with other services as appropriate.
Position Qualifications:
1 year of prior experience in sales preferred, but not required.
1 year of customer service experience preferred, but not required.
Insurance sales experience preferred, but not required
A valid insurance license for assigned State(s) is preferred. If not already licensed, must obtain license within specified period of time to remain employed.
Must be proficient in Spanish and English.
Above average communication skills to represent the company in a professional manner and communicate effectively with potential customers.
Previous experience with Excel, Word and web-based systems preferred.
Experience with and the ability to use a PC to perform daily duties required.
Must be detail oriented and accurate and have the ability to work independently following strict procedural guidelines.
Work schedule may fluctuate based on business needs.

Responsibilities
Agents are set up for success by being assigned a territory (called an agency) with an established book of business and existing customers.
Day-to-Day Activities:
Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales
Prospecting for new sales opportunities
Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule that you determine
Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans
Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork
