Job Purpose We are actively seeking a Plant Quality Specialist to join our team in Grand Island, NE. Key Responsibilities * Coordinates the ISO certification process and directs continuous improvements and audits to ensure future compliance. * Leads ISO Implementation team and trains employees on principles and requirements of certification. * Ensures all appropriate ISO documentation is completed and maintained. * Coordinate corrective actions in response to internal and registrar non-conformances, customer issues, and system weaknesses. * Analyze customer complaints, internal nonconforming product data, and production data, and makes recommendations for improvements. * Other related duties as assigned. Experience Required * A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. * A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Pay Transparency The annual salary for this role is USD $63,000.00 - $84,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) Job Purpose In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating industrial responsibilities related to supply chain management, inventory management and manufacturing operating plans. Experience Required * A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or other technical discipline plus 5 or more years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis * In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, High School Diploma/GED plus 10 or more years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis may be considered Key Responsibilities * Cooperate with production supervisors to control the flow of parts, minimize down time and/or incomplete units in inventory, as well as other related Shop Planner concerns. * Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering. * Compiles data and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements and indirect material budget projections. * Oversees the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities. * Cordinates efforts to obtain critical parts, analyzing problems associated with parts and make suggestions to alleviate bottlenecks. * Develops policies and procedures to ensure timely flow of materials and for tracking the physical inventory. * Monitor and control critical parts to reduce time while maintaining a smooth and orderly work flow to other areas. * Develops specifications for new and changed service orders. * Other related duties as assigned. Job Purpose This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading people, materials, equipment and processes in order to achieve established safety, quality, delivery, and profit goals while maintaining positive employee relations. They will apply lean manufacturing tools and techniques to continuously improve safety, cost, quality, and efficiency in their areas. Key Responsibilities * Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to and implementing CNH safety programs, policies, and regulations. * Supervise area for abnormalities from standard in man, material, machine, and method and to take appropriate actions in a timely manner in order deal with this abnormality. This includes abnormalities in the standard processes, standard machine operation, product quality, and logistics management. * Supervise and direct hourly employees in the production of parts, components, and finished products to meet established efficiency targets and when missing these targets to develop and implement corrective action plans. * Produce quality parts and finished goods that meet established quality goals. * Administer operating budgets and monitor results to assure departmental objectives are achieved. * Maintain required levels of inventory and develop and implement corrective action plans when required. * Perform continuous improvement activities aimed at improving safety, efficiency, quality, and costs. * Develop and maintain positive employee relations within the guidelines of company policy. * Support human resource activities such as employee selection, pay administration, employee counseling, training, performance reviews, discipline for hourly employees, and the administration of policies and agreements. * Monitor and coordinate the maintenance of equipment in the department to meet work schedule. * Administer and facilitate time standards in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering to maintain fair and proper standards throughout the department. * Implement company strategies and process changes at the operational level of the organization. * Lead and direct Kaizens and Continuous Improvement projects. Experience Required * Bachelor's degree, or an Associates degree plus three (3) years experience in Supervising/Manufacturing, or High School diploma and five (5) years experience in Supervising/Manufacturing. Pay Transparency The annual minimum salary for this role is $65,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) Job Purpose 3rd shift Maintenance Technician in the Paint Department Key Responsibilities * Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude and knowledge of the welding and fabrication systems. * Must be self-motivated with ability to proceed alone to diagnose, plan, layout and complete assignments - strong problem solving skills * Must be able to operate fork trucks and lifts. * Must be able to read schematic diagrams, interpret blueprints and understand service manuals. * Must be able to perform a variety of routine maintenance tasks including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other maintenance duties. * Pipe-fitter type skills * Strong welding skills - Certified Welder * Good computer skills * Knowledge and experience of the paint mechanical process preferred * Must be willing to attend training classes, seminars, or service schools. * Mechanical Tech Degree or equivalent experience preferred Preferred Qualifications The qualified candidate will have experience with the following: Technical degree or certification The preferred candidate will have experience with the following: 2-4 years direct maintenance experience. Compensation Data Starting rate is based on experience, $27.67/hour. Additional $2.50/hour for night shift differential. Job Purpose The Plant Materials Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing logistics operations within the plant, focusing on the efficient movement and storage of materials, components, and finished products. This role involves coordinating with production, procurement, and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate inventory management. Key Responsibilities * Receive, analyze and forward requirements to suppliers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts. * Identify and assist in resolving delivery performance problems to reduce late purchased parts and subsequent production down time. * Maintain communications with suppliers to identify late or short deliveries to enable alternate action to be taken and to provide updates to manufacturing personnel. * Maintain open communications with Manufacturing to keep informed on late deliveries and potential quality problems. * Develop or assist with contingency plans for late deliveries to enable realistic delivery dates to be transmitted to production for workforce and Shipping requirements. * Contact potential suppliers on new parts for estimated delivery to ensure parts availability to meet production and Shipping objectives; monitor planning of purchased parts to ensure requirements are satisfied. * Analyze trends and keep management advised of action to improve or dissolve chronic suppliers. * Guide and train less experienced personnel in the techniques of supervising and coordinating on-time deliveries. * Monitor lead times of purchased parts, by supplier. Inform management when lead times move out of acceptable and expected time frames. * Maintain quality metrics by supplier. * Order and expedite parts that are outside the normal lead time to support short lead adds in manufacturing. Experience Required * Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * OR high school diploma/GED plus 5 or more years in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications * Material Analyst Role, preferably 5 years experience * APICS certification * Strong communication skills to share fairly complex information with team and/or audiences not knowledgeable of the subject matter. * Strong organizational skills. * Good problem solving skills. * Experience creating reports and conducting analysis. * Self directed and motivated. Job Purpose In this role, you will be responsible for improving manufacturing efficiency, cost, product quality, and worker safety by analyzing current methods, new methods, new technologies and cost reduction activities in selected areas. Key Responsibilities Establish methods and standards for new/changed parts. Work closely with design engineering and plant operations in developing processes and assist in development of new products with manufacturing requirements as part of the development process. Analyze, document and investigate and implement corrections for process failures; and initiate implement cost reductions. Provide leadership and work with other functions to help the plant meet goals in safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost while participating in a team environment. Othere duties may include the need to establish economical manufacturing routings for a wide range of materials including casting and weldments. Provide support and participate in new product launch teams. Select correct tooling for new processes. Lead or assist in design of new or revised tooling to be used in all phases of the manufacturing process, including fabrication, welding and assembly. Provide production support in areas of safety, quality, throughput improvement, line balancing, tooling engineering, inventory management and cost optimization. Job Purpose Key Responsibilities * Work from orders, blueprints, route and method sheets, and direction from supervisor. * Welds together metal components as specified by layout, diagram, work order, welding procedures, and oral instructions, using electric wire feed welding equipment. * Obtain welding, fixtures and positioners from storage, identify by part or tool number, as indicated on route sheet. * Weld beads of prescribed length, radius, and size to fasten elements securely together to meet specifications and leak proof seams when required. * Weld elements to make regular and irregular, eccentric, and symmetrical weldments of simple, or design. * Vary amperage and voltage to obtain quality weld at maximum linear speed consistent with good. * Obtain accurate angular, dimensional and spatial relationships, within specified limits, by careful a fixture, proper positioning, clamping, and checking of parts in fixture. * Strikes arc, which generates heat to melt and deposit metal from electrode to work piece and join edges of work piece. * Manually guides gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld and size of molten puddle. * Welds in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions. * Cleans or degreases weld joint or work piece using wire brush, portable grinder or chemical bath. * May cut metal plate or structural shapes using oxy/acetylene torch. Overtime may be required in addition to occasional Saturday operations.
