JOB PROFILE
The Service Shop Manager position is responsible for managing all skilled service mechanics/technicians, support staff and service activities for the shop. Assigns work within company facilities and at remote field locations, providing assistance to technicians in prioritizing and locating field service customers.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Service Technician training and/or equipment service and maintenance training through accredited technical schools, dealerships or manufacturer factory training preferred. High school diploma required, college and/or technical education preferred.
Five or more years of previous hands-on equipment diagnostics and advanced troubleshooting experience working on heavy, diesel construction and agricultural equipment. Candidates with limited equipment experience, but with strong engine experience will be considered.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and on-call hours as required.
Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, adaptability and a strong customer service focus.
Sense of urgency and self-initiative, and the personal drive for success.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to travel as required for meetings and training (less than 15%).

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum one year of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
Minimum one year customer service, retail, and/or sales experience
Hands on cash management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in using phone system, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
Physical demands of this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations
