Leidos is seeking energetic, motivated, self-starters for these technically sophisticated and challenging cybersecurity engineering positions. Cybersecurity Co-ops may develop complex, defensive cybersecurity solutions for trainer systems and their development environments, and assess and upgrade Linux servers and workstations. All work is developed and executed in a Linux OS environment. All work is directly applicable to actual military training systems. Co-op students will gain invaluable, real-world experience on state-of-the-art computer-based systems. This co-op rotation will start in May 2026 and conclude in December 2026. Subsequent co-op rotations are available for those who require multiple co-op experiences.
Basic Qualifications:
• You MUST be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical degree, have at least a 3.2 GPA, and be able to demonstrate solid Linux system and defensive cybersecurity skills.
• You MUST be available to work at least 7 months full time as a co-op.
• You MUST have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance. Employment is contingent on receiving an interim Secret security clearance.
• You WILL be working in a professional environment and contributing to systems that will be used throughout the U.S. Navy. Therefore, candidates must be dedicated to producing quality work results and must be extremely attentive to detail.
