Must be able to meet the physical requirements as outlined below: Pass pre-employment and subsequent physical examinations as required by the Department of Transportation FMCSA and Company physical evaluation, as well as DOT alcohol and drug screen. Be able to use driver restraint mechanism (seat belt). Have the ability to work alone for extended periods of time. Get in and out of a truck or tractor up to 4-8 times per day, stepping up and down 3 steps, using 3 points of contact. Fuel the truck. Perform walk around inspection prior to, during, and at the end of each shift; including bending, squatting, and reaching to check various portions of the equipment, in all types of weather conditions. Work up to 12 hours per day, up to 6 days per week as necessary, driving up to 10 hours per shift.
