HOURLY JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL FUNCTION: Lifting, bending, twisting, stooping, climbing, reaching above shoulder level, kneeling, pushing, pulling, squatting, standing, sitting, and walking on a daily basis. Move components and sub-assemblies to assign work areas for processing by production employees and to remove them as directed. Must be able to lift and maneuver, within a range of zero to five feet vertically and twenty-five paces horizontally, a load of up to thirty-five pounds. Must be able to walk up to five miles in an eight hour shift. Must be able to see parts and non-conformances one-eighth of an inch across a distance of two feet. Must be able to torque screws, using a torque driver, to twenty inch/pounds. Must be able to detect subtle differences in color and texture. Must be able to keep neat and accurate inspection records. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: Assemble parts repetitively and rapidly. Visually inspect parts and assemblies. Lift anywhere from ounces to 50 pounds repeatedly for the full work shift. Ability to be trained two (2)or more assembly operations during a work shift. Uses hand air tools and manual tools. Work overtime as scheduled. Use hand trucks, floor hoists and other material-handling devices. Using measuring tools. Keep records as directed. Work overtime as scheduled.
