Position Summary:
The Columbia Public School District is seeking Assistant Coaches for Football at West Middle School.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting the Head Coach with maintaining the football program at West Middle School.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: 60 hours of college credit is required and meets MSHSAA minimum requirements for coaching.
If hired as a coach via a substitute certificate, the individual must satisfactorily complete (make a grade of 80% to pass) a MSHSAA approved coaches education program (NFICEP) before he/she can be hired for a coaching position in any subsequent year. In addition, all coaches despite certification status must attend a NFICEP first-aid class and pass the exit test given at that time.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree; Missouri teaching certificate; Prior teaching/coaching experience.
