Facility/Fiscal/Equipment The successful coach is responsible for the facility and the equipment used in practice sessions and in games. The successful coach is responsible for the care and upkeep of the facility which is being used for such sport. The successful coach will maintain a strict inventory of all uniforms and equipment. At the end of the season the coach will submit a copy of the inventory to the athletic office. The successful coach will maintain the integrity and discipline of the team such that all 3rd party equipment and venues (e.g., buses, locker rooms, etc.) are maintained and returned to their owners clean and in better condition than when received. This is a mark of good stewardship, culture, and a positive representation of the school and team. The successful coach will collaborate effectively with members of the school's Athletic Training Staff; Strength and Conditioning/Sports Performance Staff; etc. Community/Parent Relationships The successful coach is responsible for good public relations with the faculty, staff, parents, opposing coaches, and referees. The successful coach promotes all the school's sports among parents, players, staff, and fans at all times and encourages his football players to drive positive culture and school spirit. The successful coach will assist with communications with parents as needed. The successful coach will encourage and support multi‑sport athletes to his best ability. Other Responsibilities The successful coach monitors athletic locker rooms before and after practices and events.
