Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Thorough knowledge of all the Athletic Policies approved by the Gaston County Schools' Board of Education and is responsible for its implementation by the entire staff of the sports program. • Knowledge of existing system, state, and conference regulations; implements them consistently and interprets them for staff. • Ability and willingness to organize and supervise the tennis program. • Must have superior knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field. • Understands the growth and development of players at the assigned school.

Coach will travel throughout the Greater Charlotte area to different daycares, preschools, and public/private elementary schools to teach classes
Tracking attendance, keeping records of child progress, and maintaining positive relationships with center staff, directors, parents, and other Amazing Athletes staff are other important areas of responsibility
Ensure the safety of all participants while in the care of Amazing Athletes
Assistant coaches will give support to head coaches and occasionally fill in as the head coach when needed.

Advises coaching strategies for special teams.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and or equivalent coaching experience. Master's degree preferred. Working knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance issues concerning the administration of Intercollegiate Athletics are required. Demonstrated ability to recruit student-athletes with potential for academic and athletic success. Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the general public. A valid driver's license is preferred. The equivalent combination of education, related work experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
Working Conditions and Atmosphere

Visible program under constant scrutiny of students, faculty, staff, community, media, and alumni. Considerable travel and frequent night and weekend hours involved. Incumbent spends the period of August to November and one month in the spring coaching the sport of football. The balance of the year is spent recruiting, utilizing independent judgment and a great deal of analysis in recruiting prospects and offer them the opportunity to join the JCSU Football program.
