Albizu University Miami Campus is seeking an experienced and motivated Head Softball Coach to lead the launch of its Women's Softball program as part of the institution's expanding NAIA Pathway Athletics initiative. The Head Coach will be responsible for recruiting and developing student-athletes, implementing a competitive softball program, and fostering an environment that promotes academic excellence, sportsmanship, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Establish and manage all phases of the women's softball program in alignment with Albizu University's athletic vision and NAIA standards.
Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes who meet both academic and athletic requirements.
Develop structured practice plans and competitive game strategies.
Manage scheduling of practices, games, and travel in collaboration with the Athletic Director.
Ensure compliance with Albizu University, NAIA, and conference regulations.
Coordinate equipment and uniform orders, field maintenance schedules, and athletic facility use.
Supervise assistant coaches and support staff.
Promote team culture, leadership, and positive academic progress among players.
Engage with the local community, alumni, and sponsors to build support for the program.
Oversee budget management, fundraising initiatives, and community outreach.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of softball coaching experience at college, high school, or club level.
Strong understanding of NAIA or NCAA softball rules and compliance standards.
Proven experience in player development and recruiting.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain before starting date).
Preffered:
Collegiate level playing or coaching experience.
Experience with recruiting databases and compliance platforms.
Demonstrated success in program building or team development.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred.

Position Overview:
The Head Coach for Men's & Women's Track & Field and Assistant Coach for Cross Country is responsible for planning and instructing/teaching/coaching their student-athletes, as well as the recruitment of all team members, and the performance of student-athletes during all athletic and academic activities. Additionally, this role includes managing the budget and financial responsibility for the Track & Field program.
Key Responsibilities:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Throughout the school year you will prioritize Track & Field. You will assist the Director of Athletics with all aspects of running the Florida National University intercollegiate varsity Men's & Women's Track & Field teams and the Athletic Department. During the fall semester you will assist the Men's & Women's Cross Country Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics with all aspects of running the Florida National University intercollegiate varsity Men's & Women's Cross Country teams.
The Head Coach is responsible for administering all facets of the Track & Field program's year-round activities, most specifically the instructing, teaching, and coaching of student-athletes. Other duties include, but are not limited to practice organization, competition day preparation, recruiting and evaluation of prospective student-athletes, maintaining gear and equipment inventory, and supervising student-athletes academically and in all athletic activities.
The Head Coach is responsible for evaluating and determining priorities relating to sport budget preparation, equipment purchases, and scheduling. The Head Coach must demonstrate the ability to manage a designated budget through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
The Head Coach must demonstrate concern for student-athlete academic pursuits by adherence to department and University academic policies, as well as initiation of personal academic goals for each student-athlete; academics and student retention is of the upmost importance at FNU.
The Head Coach will select, train, evaluate, supervise, and mentor Assistant Coaches, all Graduate Assistants, Team Managers, volunteers, interns, etc. This requires the ability to delegate responsibility and manage those individuals in completing assigned tasks.
The Head Coach must adhere to all policies and procedures of the NAIA, the USCAA, applicable Conferences, City of Hialeah, local municipalities, etc.
Along with the Faculty Athletic Representative and Director of Athletics, ensure that all student-athletes are eligible in accordance with the rules and regulations of the NAIA and USCAA prior to their representation of the institution in any manner.
Act as an Admissions Representative and help your team's student-athletes enroll in the University. This includes admissions paperwork, uploading documents, and ensuring student-athletes successfully complete their Financial Aid, Academic Advising, Bursar's Office, Student Services, Registration Office, and any other requirements.
Prior to the beginning of each term/semester, verify that all academic, financial, community service, and athletic eligibility requirements of your team's student-athletes have been met.
Enforce the dress code (e.g. team clothing) when traveling with teams.
Act as a liaison to various areas within the Athletic Department.
Responsible for completing the necessary requirements of CPR.
Education, Experience, and General Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Previous experience in Higher Education athletics is highly desirable.
Collegiate level coaching experience which includes demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, training, and compliance.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. May require overnight stays.
Must be able to attend all athletic activities, contests, and travel with the team as required.

This position plays a critical role in driving high performance, athlete availability, and long-term player development within the Washington Nationals' system.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of individualized rehab strength and conditioning programs for all injured or returning-to-play athletes.
Progress athletes through return-to-play phases in collaboration with the medical staff.
Coordinate with the S&C Coordinator to ensure philosophical alignment and maintain consistent organizational standards.
Work daily with Medical, Athletic Training, Pitching/Hitting, and Nutrition to integrate strength, movement, workload, into rehab plans.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and communicate athlete status updates clearly and consistently.
Assist in developing organizational best practices for rehab progressions, testing batteries, and return-to-play criteria.
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on athlete progress and rehab milestones.
Assist with off-season program creation and check-ins for players rehabbing remotely or transitioning out of rehab.
Support Spring Training strength and conditioning operations for the Minor League department.
Assist the MiLB S&C Coordinator with department-wide initiatives, research projects, and system development.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Related Field
Certification through the NSCA (CSCS)
CPR/AED/First Aid
Vehicle and Laptop computer
Preferred:
Master's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Related Field
Experience using a variety of sport science devices such as 1080 Motion Devices, Vald Ecosystem, GymAware, etc.
2 years of strength and conditioning experience in the rehab setting (baseball experience preferred)
Bilingual (Spanish)
Willingness to learn and continue their education within and beyond the Strength and Conditioning field
Compensation
The projected annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000 per year. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant's: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Act as an Admissions Representative and help your team's student-athletes enroll in the University. This includes admissions paperwork, uploading documents, and ensuring student-athletes successfully complete their Financial Aid, Academic Advising, Bursar's Office, Student Services, Registration Office, and any other requirements.
Prior to the beginning of each term/semester, verify that all academic, financial, community service, and athletic eligibility requirements of your team's student-athletes have been met.
Enforce the dress code (e.g. team clothing) when traveling with teams.
Act as a liaison to various areas within the Athletic Department.
Responsible for completing the necessary requirements of CPR.
Education, Experience, and General Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

* The Head Coach must adhere to all policies and procedures of the NAIA, the USCAA, applicable Conferences, City of Hialeah, local municipalities, etc.
* Along with the Faculty Athletic Representative and Director of Athletics, ensure that all student-athletes are eligible in accordance with the rules and regulations of the NAIA and USCAA prior to their representation of the institution in any manner.
* Act as an Admissions Representative and help your team's student-athletes enroll in the University. This includes admissions paperwork, uploading documents, and ensuring student-athletes successfully complete their Financial Aid, Academic Advising, Bursar's Office, Student Services, Registration Office, and any other requirements.
* Prior to the beginning of each term/semester, verify that all academic, financial, community service, and athletic eligibility requirements of your team's student-athletes have been met.
* Enforce the dress code (e.g. team clothing) when traveling with teams.
* Act as a liaison to various areas within the Athletic Department.
* Responsible for completing the necessary requirements of CPR.
Education, Experience, and General Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
* Previous experience in Higher Education athletics is highly desirable.
* Collegiate level coaching experience which includes demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, training, and compliance.
* Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. May require overnight stays.

Position Summary
The Washington Nationals are seeking driven and open-minded S&C Coaches to support all aspects of the physical development program at our Minor League affiliates. The Seasonal S&C Coach will assist the affiliate S&C Coach and work closely with the Athletic Training Staff and Player Development departments to help implement the Nationals' performance model on a daily basis.

Primary Responsibilities
Assist with delivery of warm-ups, weight room sessions, conditioning, and recovery sessions

Support data collection across performance areas (jump testing, workload, speed, strength, wellness, etc.)
Execute GPS, jump testing, sprint profiling, and wellness monitoring as directed
Assist with basic reporting and communication of training status to staff
Help deliver individualized and team-based programs written by the Coordinator & Affiliate S&C Coach
Work closely with the affiliate strength coach, medical staff, coordinators, and coaches
Assist with interdisciplinary communication to ensure athlete needs are met
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Related Field
Certification through the NSCA (CSCS)
CPR/AED/First Aid
Vehicle and Laptop computer
Preferred:
Experience using a variety of sport science devices such as 1080 Motion Devices, Vald Ecosystem, GymAware, etc.
Bilingual (Spanish)

Compensation
This is a seasonal hourly paid position without health benefits. The position is paid in accordance to DC Minimum Wage ($17.95/hour as of July 1, 2025), with the potential for overtime hours. The Nationals will provide meal money and a monthly housing allowance, in addition to covering travel to and from the home residence.
