Experience Requirements: A Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working with children; examples include but are not limited to: academic/athletic tutoring, camp counselor, and youth volunteer. Basketball/youth sports coaching experience (1 - 5 years minimum) required. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required) Basketball Coach Pay Range: $25 - 50 per hour (based on education and experience) Essential Job Responsibilities: The Basketball coach is responsible for the supervision of students, giving basketball-specific coaching and instruction, providing a safe and fun learning environment, and serving as a positive role model for students. Provide daily basketball instruction/coaching to students between the ages of 4 and 18 with different ability levels. Demonstrate basketball skills and tactics, explaining the principles behind them, observe and assess students performance, and give them feedback on their progress. Group supervision of students with attention to: behavior and group management, health and safety, security, and personal and skill development. Kicking off in March, our 2026 season consists of practices two nights per week with 1-2 weekend tournaments per month in the Spring & Summer.
