About HoopGirls DC HoopGirls DC is an all-girls basketball program that strives to build strong bodies, strong minds, and future leaders through the game of basketball. The HoopGirls basketball program teaches confidence, perseverance, toughness, team spirit, sportsmanship, and leadership. HoopGirls is focused on the ages of 8 through 13, and mixes players from different schools and neighborhoods, allowing the opportunity to build new friendships as well. There are no tryouts. All girls who sign up can learn to play the game and have fun too.
