The KidStrong Childrens Coach - Role and Schedule Details:
We are looking for a coach with athletic or coaching experience who ideally has experience coaching kids ages 12 months to 11 years old.
KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from the evolving monthly curriculum
The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding the why behind the KidStrong curriculum
Our classes run typically weekdays, 9 am -11 am and evenings until 7 pm, and weekends are typically from 8 am through lunch/noon.
Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs.
Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party coaching hours.
Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required!
Kidstrong Childrens Coach Responsibilities:
Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups range from roughly 12 months old to 11 years old
Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
Must be able to ensure classes both start and end on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum
Greet students as well as the parent(s)/guardian(s) individually prior to and at the beginning of class
Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading the class
Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises
Ensure cleanliness of the center, including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors - this includes taking out the trash, sweeping and mopping, wiping down equipment, and sanitizing the mat at the end of a shift
Effectively use the KS Coachs App to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)
Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack, our company messaging system, including periodic checks of messages when not in centers
Complete training through FranConnect as required by the HQ Training and Certification team
Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lifting and repeatedly moving equipment up to 25 pounds in weight.
Must be comfortable working "hands-on" with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety.
Assist parents of students ages three and younger with the direction and flow of a class
Attend monthly center staff programming meetings to receive training for next month's curriculum
Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by the KidStrong Director
Learn and manage Coach KidStrong Academy - special classes held by centers when local schools are not operating (for example Winter Break, Summer Break)
Must obtain certified status by the HQ Training and Certification team
Attend monthly center staff programming meetings to receive training for next months curriculum
KidStrong Childrens Coach Qualifications:
Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred
Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
CPR certified

- Start times are mostly between 3:00 pm-6:30 pm. Classes are 55-60 minutes long and meet once a week. You can be scheduled for as many of these classes as your availability allows. Teachers also get paid preparation time for each camp they are leading. Most camps are held at our Learning Center.

Job Description:
Lead hands-on engineering and technology projects for students aged 4-14 to inspire problem-solving skills, collaboration, and creativity. Teacher to student ratio is 1:14 at most (1:6 for Prek-1st graders). Curriculum and all supplies are provided. What You'll Do
Lead and oversee all coaching operations to uphold D1's national training standards
Build, mentor, and elevate your coaching team to deliver consistent excellence
Design and deliver dynamic programs for group and 1-on-1 training sessions
Create a motivating, team-first culture that keeps athletes excited to train
Engage with the local community-connecting with schools, clubs, and teams to expand awareness of D1 Training
Drive growth through networking, relationship-building, and client retention initiatives
What You Bring
5+ years of coaching experience in strength & conditioning or athletic performance
Strong programming knowledge and ability to coach all ages and skill levels
High energy, professionalism, and daily enthusiasm (“bring the juice”)
A collaborative, team-first mindset-no egos, just effort
Desire to continuously learn, improve, and lead by example
A Day in the Life
You start your morning on a professional indoor turf, surrounded by driven athletes and a supportive team. You lead adult strength sessions, then shift to a focused 1-on-1 with a college-bound athlete. Later, you energize a youth class, coach movement, and celebrate progress. By day's end, you've built confidence, improved performance, and grown your community-all under one roof.
