Academic Coach TRiO, Student Support Services (SSS) Full-time TRiO, Student Support Services (SSS) Program is a grant, funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Student Support Services serves students who are first generation (neither parent nor guardian has a bachelor's degree), meets federal income guidelines as outlined by the U.S. Department of Education, and/or have a documented disability.
Cincinnati State's SSS program is searching for a full-time Academic Coach. The purpose of the Academic Coach is to support students to successfully navigate through college and complete graduation requirements. In addition, the individual will serve students through academic coaching, personal and group tutoring, counseling, academic resources, provide information on career and college transfer services and information on financial literacy. Hours of operation: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 8:30am to 6:30pm (includes virtual participants outreach hours). This position requires evenings and weekend hours based upon the needs of the department.
Note: Funding for this position is contingent on annual grant funding from the US Department of Education. Current funding is confirmed through August 31, 2030. Renewal grant in process to extend 2030.
Essential Duties:
* Plan and participate in recruiting, enrollment and program events to meet SSS grant deliverables.
* Facilitate completion of orientation process with new students.
* Utilize information from intake survey to evaluate students' abilities, interests, and personality characteristics in order to develop a student action plan.
* Maintain accurate and current records and monitor participant's progress, including following process and timeline expectations for data entry into required data management systems.
* Assist with collecting data in compliance of federal grant reporting.
* Plan and conduct presentations to participants, agencies and community partners on financial aid, academic and career development, and additional workshops to help student's progress.
* Develop and follow up with participants on their educational plans.
* Confer with and direct students to academic advisors, program chairs, college counselors, other faculty and administrators, as appropriate, to help resolve students' academic administrative problems.
* Adjust working hours to prioritize student need and/or support college events.

Job Title: Head Soccer Coach
Location: Richmond, OH
Report To: General Manager
Hours Required: Full Time up to 35 hours per week, including afternoons, weekends and holidays
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Soccer Coach who will assist the General Manager with our TOCA Training experience ensuring its smooth operation and success. TOCA Training is a first of its kind, technology backed training program. Each time we introduce a new customer to TOCA Training, we dramatically change the trajectory of their performance. Our unique methodology focuses on repetition, and improving players' technical and decision making abilities, driving results faster than any other soccer training available. TOCA Training is designed for players of all ages and abilities, and it has been used by professional players, youth academy teams, and individuals looking to improve their skills. A successful candidate in this role is passionate about soccer, can take ownership of their department by providing a welcoming and engaging environment for players, parents, and staff, embodies our core values, and thrives in a fast-paced people-filled setting.
Your Game Plan: Community Partnership, Marketing & Sales Enablement (50%):
Partner with the General Manager to uphold the program's budget, including revenue, expenses, and financial reports.
Follow the monthly business plan to achieve session, client, and financial targets.
Utilize CSAT, NPS, Referrals, and Birdeye Reviews to retain and grow the existing client base.
Contribute to positive YOY and month-over-month growth of the program.
Build and maintain relationships with parents, community organizations, and local soccer clubs.
Increase Leads, Guest Traffic, and Drop-Ins through community partnerships and cross-promotions.
Assist in marketing strategies to attract participants to the program.
Update TOCA Training Whiteboard to track month-to-date performance and forecast weekly program commitments.
Follow up with dropped clients to identify any trends contributing to turnover.
Participate in a specific plan to “Win Back” past clients from previous seasons.
Operational Excellence (25%):
Commit to servicing a minimum of 5 Free Kick Off sessions and a minimum of 15 paid sessions weekly.
Perform Baseline Session Data for effective conversion and long-term player development.
Tailor TOCA Training Plans to meet the needs and long-term development of the player.
Uphold our service commitment to maintain a clean and clutter-free, friendly and outgoing, well-maintained, and visually appealing environment.
Collaborate with the TOCA Training Manager to review and develop a plan for guest and client recovery.
Model TOCA training standards through session quality, client pathways, and experience reviews.
Leadership & Team Development (25%):
Assist with recruiting, training, and supervising trainers.
Provide ongoing support and coaching opportunities to trainers.
Ensure trainers are active, energetic, and engaging while following TOCA Training Methodologies.
Ensure that all trainers and coaches adhere to safety protocols and facility policies.
Partner with trainers on business plans centered around player goals and client development.
Ensure trainer availability and schedules are in line with the TOCA Labor Model and to budget.
Partner with the General Manager to provide an exceptional onboarding experience for trainers throughout their first 90 days.
Review the Trainer Performance Report with staff on a weekly basis.

Work with leadership to create and maintain a unified culture as well as a high level of staff engagement throughout the center.
What Your Bring to the Pitch:
USSF, CSA, or UEFA licensed coach (minimum D level)
Have a strong understanding of local club, recreational and school soccer programs
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or equivalent experience.
Have a college or professional playing background
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with different personality types as well as other departments, vendors, and clients.
Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities.
Financial acumen and the ability to understand, consider, and assess the financial impact of decisions.
Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations of time.
Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of 30+ pounds.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to engage with visitors, staff, and stakeholders.
