Collaborate with the head coach to integrate strength and conditioning into the overall soccer training plan. Documentation: Keep detailed records of each player's progress, including fitness assessments, training plans, and performance metrics. Share them with the FFA sporting director and executive director. Continual Education: Stay updated on the latest trends and research in strength and conditioning, sports science, and soccer-specific training techniques. Pursue relevant certifications and attend workshops or conferences to improve coaching skills. Safety: Ensure the safety of players during training sessions, including the proper use of equipment and monitoring for signs of overtraining or fatigue. Compliance: Adhere to any relevant regulations or guidelines set by governing bodies, leagues, or organizations overseeing youth soccer programs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or a related field (Master's preferred). Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), NASM-PES, or equivalent nationally recognized certification. Experience working with youth athletes, preferably in a soccer or team sport environment.
