Coaching Duties Recruits talent and academically eligible athletes in a professional manner. Teaches fundamentals of the sport and assesses the skill level of the Student-Athlete to achieve maximum athletic performance. Coordinates conditioning with Head Athletic Trainer. Supervises Assistant Coaching Staff. Plans practice schedules and activities. Coordinates season schedules with Athletic Director. Evaluates opposing teams to develop match strategies. All extracurricular positions promote the philosophy and goals of the district while assisting with the development of the particular program. The position requires supervision of participants and the ability to communicate expectations to both participants and parents. Furthermore, serving as a liaison between participating parents, patrons, staff, and administration as needed as well as helping with the management of the operation by carrying out rules and regulations are essential.
