The Role As a Social Studies Content Coach, you will serve as the primary instructional resource for our Graduation Candidates (GCs), delivering competency-based content, supporting personalized learning, and guiding students toward graduation and post-secondary success. Key Responsibilities
Enrollment
Support new GC enrollment through recruitment and engagement efforts
Assist with the development of Personalized Learning Plans for GCs
Retention
Serve as an advisor for assigned GCs by maintaining communication with learners and their support team
Monitor attendance, academic progress, and overall wellness to ensure consistent engagement and achievement
Academics
Plan and deliver content-area instruction in both individual and small group settings
Monitor GC academic progress toward course completion and mastery using formative and summative assessments
Analyze and use academic data to inform instruction and improve outcomes
Provide remediation and enrichment opportunities to address learning gaps and accelerate success
Participate in professional development, data meetings, and school/community events
Advocacy
Collaborate with the GC support team to develop personalized learning pathways, transition strategies, and incentive plans
Represent the academy in community events and contribute to academy-wide initiatives
Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the academy's mission

Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
Licensure: Florida 6-12 secondary certification in Social Science (REQUIRED)
Experience: 2+ years of teaching experience (high school preferred)

The Assistant Coach will report to the Head Coach and will be responsible for assisting in recruitment, maintaining roster size, practice planning, match scheduling, and budget management of Keiser University's sports program. Responsibilities: The Assistant Coach will:
* Assist in the planning, organization and the on-going development of the athletic programming and activities of the program.
* Assist in the building of a cohesive and competitive program.
* Recruit academically and athletically qualified, full-time student-athletes to participate in the program.
* Promote the academic progress and graduation of student-athletes, including assisting with enforcement of a study program.
* Assist athletic department in athletic issues as needed.
* Abide by the rules and regulations of the league in which you will be competing.
Expectations: We expect the Assistant Coach to:
* Submit all required assignments on or before designated due dates.
* Report any known violations or concerns to administration
* Conform to all Athletic Department policies and procedures as required.
* Represent Keiser University and the Athletic Department as a team player, as a professional, and as a role model for all student-athletes.
* Attend regularly scheduled Athletic Department Staff meetings.
* Possess a valid CPR Certification
* Communicate with all coaches/trainers regarding their match needs.
* Possess a valid State of Florida Driver's License and be responsible for driving Keiser University vehicles and/or rental vehicles when assigned for away competitions.

* Have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred.
* Have 1-3 years of advanced coaching experience. College coaching experience preferred.
