Directly related teaching and instruction experience is required to perform demonstration teaching and athletic skill development. The coach meets frequently with school administrators, other staff and parents to communicate information, data, and alternative problem solutions. This a non-sedentary position classification that performs light to medium work that involves walking, running and standing for extended periods. This position requires accurate perception of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, handling and working with educational sport learning aids, materials and objects, and providing oral information and direction.
