The Disability Services and Programs at Sacramento City College is seeking qualified individual with demonstrated academic and vocational support skills to join an outstanding team of faculty and staff to provide high quality services to our district, our community, and most importantly to our students. These are part time positions. Appointments are contingent upon funding. The College to Career (C2C) Program is a cooperative contract program with the California Department of Rehabilitation designed to provide educational and vocational support and training for students with intellectual disabilities. The position will support students while at college as well as assist students in connecting with local agencies that can provide ongoing support.
This is an "open until filled" pool. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
Typical Duties
Develops internship and job placement opportunities with both public and private sector employers; meets with employers to learn requirements of various occupation and staffing needs of employers; assists students with disabilities participating in the C2C Program, either in classes or in employment settings, to meet educational and/or employment requirements; develops and employs individualized tutoring strategies to assist students to complete educational tasks related to their vocational goals; assists students with computer usage and assistive technology used for accessing student information, curriculum, and performing coursework; consults with C2C Program staff, college faculty and staff, and employers regarding students' educational /vocational progress, as necessary; provides performance feedback to students in both classroom and on the job settings and may assist employers to identify and implement workplace accommodations; writes reports on student progress; attends staff meetings and trainings to maintain current knowledge in the field of disability education and employment; maintains student records and any necessary documents in accurate filing system.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Two years of experience in job placement, career planning or student personnel services, preferably in an educational or community college setting;OR, two years of experience in employment development at a community-based organization.
Education: Completion of an associate's degree;OR60 semester units (90 quarter units).
Have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, including those with physical or learning disabilities as it relates to differences in learning styles; and successfully foster and support an inclusive educational and employment environment.
(Experience Requirement: One year of experience is equal to 12 months of experience at 40 hours per week. Applicable part-time experience will be converted to the full-time equivalent for purposes of meeting the experience requirement. Education Requirement: One year of education is equal to 30 semester units.)

The Board of Trustees desires to employ highly qualified coaches for the district's sports and interscholastic athletic programs in order to enhance the knowledge, skills, motivation, and safety of student athletes.
The coach of an athletic team is primarily responsible for the compliance of his/her squad members to the rules, regulations, and policies governing athletics at his/her assigned school. Compliance is enhanced when athletes are informed of and understand the policies. All coaches are directly responsible to the Athletic Director and Administrator at his/her school for the application of these rules and regulations.
HEAD COACH JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Serve as liaison between the coaching staff and the Athletic Director.
2. Has a thorough knowledge of the Rules and By-Laws of the California Interscholastic Federation, the League, and the River Delta Unified School District as they pertain to his/her sport, including the clearance of all staff members and student-athletes.
3. Understands the proper administrative chain of command and refers all requests or grievances through proper channels. Is aware of all public/staff/departmental meetings that require attendance.
4. Establishes the fundamental philosophy, skills and techniques to be taught by the staff. Designs conferences, clinics and staff meetings to ensure staff awareness of the overall program.
5. Trains and informs staff and encourages professional growth by promoting clinic attendance.
6. Delegates specific duties, supervises implementation, and at season's end analyzes staff effectiveness and evaluates all assistants.
7. Maintains discipline, mediates grievances, and works to increase morale.
8. Assists the Athletic Director in scheduling, providing transportation needs and requirements for all games, tournaments, and special sports events.
9. Assists in the necessary preparation for scheduled home sports contests or practices and adheres to scheduled facility usage times.
10. Coordinates facility needs/repairs with maintenance and school employees.
11. Provides proper safeguards for eminence and protection of assigned equipment.
12. Recommends policy, method or procedural changes to the Athletic Director.
13. Monitors the grades and conduct of his/her athletes.
14. Provides assistance, guidance, and safeguards for each participant by his/her presence at all practices, games, while traveling, and when returning from off-campus events.
15. Completes paperwork on all disabling athletic injuries on proper forms and submits to the Athletic Director by the next school day.
16. Directs student managers, assistants and statisticians.
17. Determines discipline, delineates procedures concerning due process when the enforcement of discipline is necessary, and contacts parents when a student is suspended, dropped or becomes ineligible.
18. Participates in the budgeting process with the Athletic Director by submitting needs for the next season.
19. Recommends/selects equipment and uniforms within budget appropriations.
20. Is accountable for all equipment in his/her program and submits notification to the Athletic Director for any equipment lost, damaged not returned or returned after the due date.
21. Arranges for issuing, storing, reconditioning of equipment, and submits annual inventory.
22. Properly marks and identifies all equipment before issuing or storing.
23. Secures all doors, lights, window and locks and stores all equipment before leaving building or area. Supervises locker room area before and after practice.
24. Instills in each player a respect for equipment and school property its care and proper use.
25. Responsible for maintaining good public relations with news media, parents, officials, volunteers and fans.
26. Responsible for reporting scores and information after every home contest to the Sacramento Bee. Statistics required by local media, league representatives and Max Preps will also be the responsibility of the head coach. These duties may be delegated.
27. Head Coaches in football are responsible for having written contracts for non-league games with opposing schools.
28. Understands that all drivers must meet district requirements to transport student-athletes and must be at lease 21 years of age prior to driving. Verification will need to be obtained with site secretary. Athletes are not allowed to drive themselves, ride with other athletes, or with drivers not cleared by district.
29. Guarantees that all district equipment including district vehicles is used for official school business only and is operated safely.
30. Performs other duties which may be assigned by the Athletic Director or Principal.
31. Make sure that any volunteer coaches (unpaid coaches or adult help) have been cleared by district. If a coach allows a non-paid coach/volunteer to work with athletes, that coach is violating district and school policies.
32. Make sure that you carry you binder containing insurance and power of attorneys for each athlete.
33. Responsible to make sure that each player signs the Athletic Code of Conduct.
34. All athletic purchase must be cleared with the Athletic Director prior to purchasing.

Notify A.D. of any changes to the practice schedule at least 48 hours in advance. In case of cancellation due to an emergency, the school office must be notified along with the A.D.
In cases of inclement weather, confer with A.D. about time change or cancellation.
Check the practice facility/field before and after each practice for cleanliness and order.
Remain at the facility/field at the end of practices until all players have left.
GAMES
Dress professionally
Be present on campus for game-day early dismissals of student-athletes. Ensure athletes are dismissed promptly and quietly.
Coordinate team pre- -game activities/conduct and supervise pre- -game warm- -ups.
Coach during the game with intensity, encouragement, and professionalism. Your character will be remembered long after the score.
COMMUNICATION
Provide parents with contact information (phone and email) if necessary.
Assist in communicating game times, locations, and expectations to student athletes in a regular and timely manner.
Assist in establishing expectations with team captain(s) and players at the beginning of the season.
ADMINISTRATION
Assist in providing equipment/uniform requests to A.D. before the season as needed.

The Instructor or Coach encourages our members to pursue a holistic approach to fitness through our group fitness and recreational sports programs offerings. Instructors or Coaches continually monitor members' needs and progress through safe exercises/routines, while creating an engaging, impactful, and fun workout experience. This role may lead live or virtual classes and work with all ages.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Motivate members to explore multiple group fitness classes, recreational sports programs and club amenities to enhance their fitness journey
Promote and participate in club events encouraging members and guests to attend through social media channels and engaging members in the club
Connect with members through being welcoming, and approachable; teach authentically and give genuine praise
Validates member's access to paid programming
Deliver a motivating instructional experience in every class/clinic, providing solid cuing (verbal and non-verbal), a seamless class flow, along with a variety of modifications, so every member feels successful
Provide instruction on correct form and technique, so members are safe and benefit from each exercise/routine
Demonstrate workout as a role model - proper form, technique, and equipment
Assist with engaging members outside the class to build a community and promote a sense of belonging
Ensure members develop along a pathway that will encourage continued involvement in multiple programs within the club
Follow procedures for equipment usage, storage, and maintenance
Responsible for teaching all assigned classes and finding class substitutions when needed
Complete assigned trainings and key tasks on time
Provide a safe and well-maintained environment through correct implementation of safety and operating policies and procedures
Coach others as well as open to being coached for professional growth
Resolve concerns/problems ensuring our members needs are met and company guidelines are followed
Attend and participate in required meetings and trainings as needed

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS - HERE'S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
HS diploma or GED equivalent
Certifications are required and documentation must be submitted:
For Fitness Classes:
o National certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.) or format specific training (i.e. Les Mills, Zumba, Keiser, U-Jam Fitness, etc.) accepted to teach free programming
o Must complete online and in-person internal training requirements to teach paid programming
o Lifeguard certification must be held to teach any aqua programming. If not already obtained, in-house training will be provided after hire.
For Sports Classes/Clinics:
o 2+ years of team sports experience need to teach free programming
o National certification is required to teach paid programming: (i.e. USPTA, USTA Net Generation, USAPA, IPTPA, US Masters certification)
Audition is required as part of the selection process
Strong motivational skills
Must be able to work independently
Trustline Registered to coach children
Willing and able to work a flexible shift: evenings, weekends, and holidays
Flexible/positive attitude
Excellent communication skills, work well under pressure and time constraints and display positive behaviors in all member contacts
Bilingual skills a plus
Current CPR or ability to pass CPR certification within 60 days of hire date
